Guest guest
Hi, I just joined. My right eye has been very dark brown from birth and my left was initially blue, then quickly turned to a greenish/yellow/light brown. My great-grandmother had different coloured eyes, but no-one else in my family. I know that heterochromia is an autosomal dominant trait, so why isn't present in all generations? I read about gene penetrance, is this the answer - does anyone know. Thanks.
