Guest guest
Hi Deborah! I am really happy to hear about your upcoming explant! I am sure it seems light years away at this point. I know I had to wait only two weeks for my explant once I made the decision to remove them, and those two weeks went by slower than molasses in January. I hope and pray that you will feel better once they are gone too. You may see improvements immediately, or you may not. One thing you can be sure of though, that your immune system will be thanking you for the relief... and the chance to let go of the stress and fight against those foreign objects. Hopefully with some detoxing efforts, supplementing with quality nutrients, exercise and, most importantly, time, you will start to feel much, much better and regain your former energy levels. It can happen! Don't give up on that hope...it has happened for lots of women. I had a hard time right after the implants were put in, it seemed my body was rejecting them but that gradually improved and I was happy with the way my clothes fit, especially bras and bathing suits. Three years later I suddening became very ill with a flu-like illness and was in bed for 3 weeks completely fatigued and unable to recover. I finally was taken to the doctor and he told me I had Chronic Fatigue Syndromn. I have had CFS and FM and a host of other illnesses for eight years now. I didn't ever want to believe that it was my implants but I know that I wasn't sick before I had them. I have scheduled surgury October 29th to have them removed. I hope and pray that I will feel better once they are gone.
Guest guest
Yes, it seems like forever. My dear sister is having a double mastectomy in a couple of weeks and I have to help her in her recovery efforts so I'll just wait until the end of October for my scheduled explant. Thanks for your words of support.*~Patty~* <fdp@...> wrote: Hi Deborah! I am really happy to hear about your upcoming explant! I am sure it seems light years away at this point. Guest guest
Oh Debbye, I'm so sorry to hear about your sister.... Can I safely assume she is not looking toward reconstruction with implants? I'm sure she has seen what you have been through... Bless you for helping her in her recovery. I hope she can do the same for you as you go through explant, at least with supportive words, as those are healing too.. Guest guest
Yes, she told her surgeon she couldn't have implants put in because she had watched her sister's health deteriorate after having implants. She has elected to not have any reconstruction right now but concentrate on getting over the mastectomy, which I think is very wise. Thanks for your good thoughts.*~Patty~* <fdp@...> wrote: Oh Debbye, I'm so sorry to hear about your sister.... Can I safely assume she is not looking toward reconstruction with implants? Guest guest
That's good news! Smart woman! I hope she will find all the information she can to help her overcome cancer...it is such a frightening disease to deal with, and there are so many options that aren't discussed. God bless you both. May He be your guide.
