Guest guest
Hi Liz, I am happy you found us too! To answer your question, I found that I am pretty much the same size after implant removal, although I had a lift done at the same time (I was saggy after breast feeding), so I am definitely perkier! You're doing the right thing. Let us know how we can help further. I would like to get my implants removed and my PS told me I should be about the same size I was before the implants after explantation. I am not having any problems with my implants, but I am sick of worrying about having foreign objects in my body. Have you found that you went back to your original size after removing the implants? Thanks so much! Liz
Guest guest
Hi Patty, Thanks for the positive words. I guess I am just paranoid that my boobs completely disappear once I take my implants out. I was a full B small C before and hoping I will be that size when the implants are removed. I'm also nervous about how my boyfriend will react to my new smaller breasts, although he says that my boobs aren't a big deal for him and will support me on whatever I decide to do. It's also possible that he will prefer my natural boobs since they will be softer to touch. I guess I can't help but worry about these thing, but I'm sure I'll be relieved once I have them taken out. I'm hoping to get a new job so I can schedule the surgery. I'm too embarrassed to walk in the office one day with suddenly small boobs. lol. How did you handle that? Did you tell people about your surgery? Thanks for your support! Liz*~Patty~* <fdp@...> wrote: Hi Liz, I am happy you found us too! Guest guest
It's really hard to tell I've reduced my breast size? You don't have to tell people. You'll have all the boobs you had. they'll just be better! That's my feeling and I breast fed for 4 years and I'm happy with mine. I was explanted Aug 14th. Boobs don't really count if you got a great guy. Its your spiritual qualities that count and if your guyes not into the spiritual aspects then hes not worth it. Itspent so much of my life looking for Mr. Right and got only Mr Wrongs. Are you reimplanting? Did I hear you correctly? YOu can't be serious. I always had a problem with guyes touching my unatural breast, there's nothing like the real ways. Stay natural. Implants are worse than russian rullet, they'll kill you. Period and knowing what you do I can't imagian you'd opt. for it. Really, no one knows and I'm still wearing the same bra. I've actually lost weight and look at lot better than before implant. You can exercise and work on the rest of your body and look awesome for years and you won't have to leave you kids without a mom. I'm only thinking about being a mom now. Bu I've had several offers and it dosen't bother any guy. I proud of my new body. Keep doing the next right thing. me lee <lizleechica@...> wrote: Hi Patty, Thanks for the positive words. Guest guest
Hi , No, I am not re-implanting; I want to explant. I am just nervous because I'm hoping my old boobs didn't disappear. The actress on the Oprah was a B cup before her implants, and was a double A after explantation. Maybe that was because she had complications with her implants. Either way I would like to get mine out before I have any complications. You are definitely right that boobs aren't a big deal if you found the right guy. My boyfriend says that he will support me; I think I am more concerned with my appearance post explant than he is. I would like to schedule my explant surgery ASAP. It's just my job that is holding me back. Maybe if I schedule it for the winter people won't notice so much because I'll be wearing sweaters. Thanks for your help. Can't wait to be natural again like you girls. Lizmichelle king <michellerking1@...> wrote: It's really hard to tell I've reduced my breast size? You don't have to tell people. Guest guest
Hi Liz, If you were a full B, small C before implants, I have no doubt that you will look wonderful after your implants are removed. Most of the women that I am aware of that have had implants removed that were that size before look great again, and some even better! (Large breasts can actually make women look frumpy and fatter.) I will bet that your boyfriend will be happy, unless he is a complete boob guy and a jerk too, in that case you won't need him around anyway! Good men know that women are worth much more than their breasts. I can tell you that my husband prefers my natural, soft breasts to those hard baseballs I had on my chest, and my breasts have never been an issue for him. (I mean, wow, he married me with my saggy boobs! icky!) I worried about it, like you, but with a good man, those fears are unfounded. You are going to be just fine. I moved from Tucson to Las Vegas after I had my implants taken out, so I had a perfect opportunity to "start anew" with my smaller breasts, but while I was living in Tucson, I had decided to try out some breast enhancers. I found those to work very well in giving me the figure I wanted in order to fill out some of my old clothes. They really look very natural, and nobody has ever guessed that I am wearing them. I've surprised alot of silicone sisters! I didn't really tell anyone about my surgery, except for a few that asked questions, and I basically told them I really didn't feel like talking about it. I am sure there were unanswered questions, but really, they are nobody's business, and it can definitely be awkward. But I am sure you will find the appropriate thing to say...You can always say you lost weight! (That's not a lie!) and you may even want to look into those breast enhancers. Good luck and God bless Liz! Patty ----- Original Message ----- From: me lee Sent: Saturday, August 30, 2003 10:34 AM Subject: Re: size after explantation Hi Patty, Thanks for the positive words. Guest guest
Liz, Have you chosen a possible explant surgeon yet? Let us know when you decide! You'll be glad when they are gone! Guest guest
Hi Liz, I guess it depends on what you do for work. I would say if you have a relatively cushy office job where there isn't alot of heavy lifting or major movement you could go back to work after the 6 days and do just fine. Other jobs that involve a workout, like waitressing may require a little more time to recover. But overall, the recovery from explant seems to be way faster than recovering from implant. Good luck in finding a good surgeon--it is so important to go with someone you feel confident in. I was looking for a new job anyway, so that may work out well. Sometimes I do feel like my implants make me look frumpy, not to mention totally out of proportion. I remember going to Spain on study abroad and all of the women had natural breasts and many were quite small. A lot of these women were so beautiful and I thought, why did I spend money on these rediculous things? I felt ugly with these gigantic waterballoons, and couldn't find any shirts in the stores there that fit me. The media glamourizes fake breasts, but in reality they are not glamorous at all. I remember one day a few years ago my boyfriend asked me if my breasts had gotten harder. I felt so humiliated that he never brought up the subject again. Now that definitely wasn't glamorous! I'm anxious to get my surgery and hope to schedule it sometime in October. I haven't chosen a PS, though but I have 2 consults scheduled. The one problem is that I only have 4 vacation days left at work. Do you think that will be enough time to recover along with the 2 extra days on the weekend? Thanks for your support!
