Guest guest
Ha ha ha--thanks Rogene! Sounds like it is really working for you though. One lady early in the group told how she was doing all this reading about aloe vera juice, so she couldn't wait to go out and buy some. She got it home and poured a nice big glass on ice, really looking forward to quenching her thirst with this juice.....and ended up spitting it out and choking on the taste, which she said was like chlorine bleach! Yechh!! I can relate! The one I bought said "orange/papaya". Yeah right. Oh well, it can be done. Like you said, you just concentrate on something else while you sip it. Or you do what I do--gulp it down as fast as you can and eat something afterward to hide the aftertaste. 8 ounces a day is good! But expensive for the kind I'm using! How much did you pay for yours? I've seen a gallon of it at Trader Joe's for $6.99. I just ended up throwing it away though, since I couldn't drink it. Maybe I should give it another shot! At that price, it would be worth it. Guest guest
Thanks Vickie, I did a check on it and mine as well. Here are some links. I bet we could find a thousand kinds of Aloe vera juice! I have no idea how to know which one is "best", but I would guess that we could all benefit from it. But if you can get it down, that is half the battle.... Here's the kind I am using right now: Aloe Life Aloe Vera juice http://www.aloelife.com/articleofthemonth.html Here's 's: http://www.georgesaloe.com/ Here's one with a ton of links for more info: http://www.tlcnutrition.com/aloevera/ A couple years ago I was corresponding with a doctor in Canada who highly recommended a certain brand of Aloe Vera juice because it was organic, had no preservatives and was high quality. I'll have to see if I can find his letters to find the name of it. I know it wasn't MLM either, and was available on the net.
