Guest guest
Just to let everyone know, I have been taking b12 sublingals for my numbness and tingling In my extremidies for the past week, and it is almost gone! Thank the lord. Shonamon did say in her "Living with Auto immune Disease" book, in the 1st pages, she thought he had impeding MS, as she would get these same symptoms-numbness (her and I both also have Hashimotos) There is a lot of info on thyroid and these types of symptoms, esp with auto immune thyroid disease, a lot of people with thyoid issues have a hard time breaking down B vitamins, and will get these problems. HMMMM I am glad I read it. Joint pain decreasing too by the day, and feeling better. Oh, and on a personal note, we bought a puppy, our cats weren't too pleased but are getting used to her. Her name is Ginger, and is as sweet as a peach. I know I would not have gotten a puppy last year when I was so ill, so another small step to being normal since explant. Being more normal everyday, now That is Grand. ----- Original Message ----- From: JOSEPH PALANCA Sent: Monday, August 18, 2003 11:59 PM Subject: Re: Re: article re: Whaet imtolerance, and even bibical , weren't you a big fan of the Zone for a while? I remember you talking all about the diet and how great you felt on it. What made you go back to wheat and regular foods? Anyway, Dr Mercola had a huge success rate with what he is doing, his No Grain book is a top seller- on top of his wellness center being the 2nd largest in the world says something is working-actually most holistic doctors will tell you to stay away from wheat, as it is a major allergy. I have seen several, as Dr Mercola is 2 hours away- in the last few years, (but suffice to say, I just came to a peace about the travel) and all of them said the same thing. He sees almost all his patients with auto immune illnesses with very high insulin levels, decreasing these foods naturally helps in the healing process. Insulin inhibits. Some people do fine with them, like you- that is great, and makes life a lot easier. I great eating this way, and feel terrible when I don’t. Probably because when I start eating grains, it raises insulin, which turns to sugar and that feeds my mycoplasma infections, and yeast. They thrive on that stuff. The diet isn't hard, esp. when you put your mind to it, it is the 1st few months, but now I crave all the raw foods, and hate any wheat -refined or otherwise. I don't believe that if I just gave it time, I would just feel better. Actually on his live cells on my blood, I had proof I got worse- And he knew I was cheating, so never again! When I went off the diet, I felt like crap anyway. I had allot of infections, and still do to deal with. I wish I could eat anything, its so much easier- and probably could when I get better, but I view this as a great learning experience for me, and a season of healing, and it really intruges me. I do love wheat bread though. That took time. ----- Original Message ----- From: naturalbeauty38 Sent: Monday, August 18, 2003 8:43 PM Subject: Re: article re: Whaet imtolerance, and even bibical This is an interesting article but I don't agree with it 100% at all. I don't think we would be very healthy today if all we ate is vegatables and meat. I think that grain is important to humans in general. It may not be for everyone, but niether is meat or dairy. I just know that I have several books here on wheat that really show how good it is for you. i am not talking about processed junk, but whole wheat. Anyhow there are other experts that I think would agree that wheat is good and nutritious so again it is just an opinion. I do agree that most people eat too much of this processed stuff, breads, pasta etc. That is 100% correct! In , "JOSEPH PALANCA" <juliejp61@m...> wrote:> To the group: Re;Wheat > A friend of yours highly recommend you read this health article: http://www.mercola.com/2003/jul/2/celiac_disease.htm. And alot of parents in my cul de sac have pre teens and teenagers, so I am sure everyone will know by tomorrow, thats ok though if they do, and ok if they dont! >From: Rogene S >Reply- > >Subject: Re: Numbness >Date: Tue, 19 Aug 2003 11:32:34 -0700 (PDT) > >, > >I admire you so much for considering the MTV spot. . . > >I'm wondering though, if it will really draw the attention that you are concerned about. . . Unless you live in a really small town where everything is broadcast over morning coffee, or at ladies meetings. . . I doubt that most the target audience for MTV will be your neighbors, family or fellow employees, unless they happen to be in that age group. I would request that MTV respects your personal privacy as much as possible while still telling your story. You needn't be the talk of the town. > >However, MTV's target audience is the one that really needs to get the message. Can you send what you think are the most important links re: dangers and the studies on implants, so I can send them to steph at MTV . I am looking through mine, and do want to miss anything important. lLooks like they are very interested, had 3 phone calls already, emailed two pages of pictres, and the last one was with the producer on the phone with . They are aking me what IAm doing on labor day weekend. I am kinda scared, I mean I just moved into my neighborhood, what will the neiughbors think about an MTV truch there for 3 days? My mom and dad are totally agiainst this, the women I work with would love to get this scoop,(total witches) and Im kinda busy to be dealing with all the after drama of what this will create. It does show my life in my house, my story. EEK! > >But yet, I know this is what I am sopossed to do. Theres like this peace... If I had heard one story from a girl in 1994 that scared me, I would have stopped plans. I mean I cancelled my surgery three times. All I needed wasnt much. I wish I had the info we have now. I always said, that if I come out, everyone will know, it will be on Oprah or something. Otherwise I will keep it low keyed, and help those on the computer and close to me.My in laws dont even know I had them! And if and when - God wants me to do this, he would show mw in a big way. This might be it, huh, MTV? I just hope they represent it right. > > > > > > > > > > > >From: "*~Patty~*" > >Reply- > >> >Subject: Re: Numbness > >Date: Tue, 19 Aug 2003 08:55:33 -0700 > > > >It is important to point out that the B12 needs to be the sublinguals or shots. I've seen some B12's in the health food stores that are to be taken like any other pill, but these don't work, as the digestive process inhibits greater absorption, and while the bottle of B12 pills may state 1000 mcgs, what you actually absorb through the digestive tract can be much, much smaller. > > > >It is also important that the B12 be in methylcobalamin form, as it is the active form of Vitamin B 12. I take B12 shots to make sure I am getting what I need, but I buy mine from the Gerson clinic, and they only sell the cyanocobalamin form. I recommended B12 lozenges to this group before, it has so many health benefits. A great one is by Now, the type of B12 it is helps heal nerves and the Central Nervous System, you typical B12 oral supps are not as effective. It is Now brand, "Brain B-12", 1000 mg under-the-tongue lozenge. The type of B12 is Methylcobalamin. Guest guest
It may not ever let up too! I have been on 3.0mgs. of LDN now for over six months (total time on LDN over ten months) as this is my comfort level,I can't change.I tried more and less and only 3.0mgs seems to be the best. However my left hand which was a fist can now be used to pour the tea kettle:-) and maybe even hold a small something fo a while, is numb and tingley and probably allways will be. but so what? At least I can go around without diapers and that is all important believe you me! Guest guest
Thanks Everyone that wrote about the numbness and I can very well see that I am fortunate to do what I am doing. I also very much believe that this will not get any worse with LDN and like some said could get better. Thanks again to all Dick > > Hi all -- on LDN about 6 months and all seems to be going > > well. > > I am wondering if anyone out there has/had numbness > > in hands?
