It's great to hear that you feel so good. That gives me hope!

I just knew that you would do well. I will be off here for a few

days, I'm going to visit my sister, the one I told you about that

has breast cancer. She is doing much better and her reports

were good that the cancer hadn't spread.

I'll be back in touch when I get back. By then you will be like a

brand new woman!

Take good care...

Hi ladies - Thank you all for your support during this process. I am so glad to have my implants out - finally. I went in yesterday to my PS here in Dallas that put them in 3 years ago. I was put fully under - but only out totally for about an hour during the surgery. Last night I was up around 7pm and felt great. Today - I have been running errands, ect. I am sore under the breasts where the cut was made - but that's it! I do have the same question from the post above regarding care after surgery. I am wearing a sports bra - but it is uncomfortable. Any suggestions? My breasts are also 'hollowed out' on the top - full at the bottom... Weird going from a big D to a B cup in one day! Thanks again.Kristi

It is great to hear your surgery went so well. I felt mine went

without a hitch also. The sport bra really needs to be worn the

whole time they tell you. After surgery, your breasts are really

compressed still from the implants. it can take months for them to

fully decompress and look totally normal. take care.

Hi Kristi,

I'm glad to hear about another successful explant. I know what you mean about it being strange going from a big D to a B cup. I haven't gone through it yet, but that's what will be happening to me once I schedule my surgery (hopefully for October or November). Congradulations on going through with this and keep us posted on your progress!

Kristi, Congratulations on your explant!! I am considering explant. Are you the same size you were before implants? I am also going from a "D" to a B. I was a small B. Did you have to have a lift? My implants are above the muscle and I am scared that I will. I hope that you recover and get your health back soon!!! Isn't it amazing how many of us got implants that were B cups? I mean

I was an A cup after losing wieght but when I was a bit heavier I was

a B and even a C cup and D cup during pregnancy so I know what it

feels like to have naturally large breasts. I mean now a days society

has us all thinking that a B cup is small, it isn't really at all. I

think a B cup is about all we need. I wish I was a B cup now, but I

still would rather be a perky A than a saggy anything. At any rate if

you end up back at a B cup I think you will be very very happy. I

wear these small silicone enhancers in my pocket bra or a water or

gel bra and these all make me about a full B cup and I think it looks

very nice on me. I will have to take some pics to add to my photos on

the website, they look nice. I think you will be happy and look

really good as a B cup. A D cup really is quite large for most women

that are average or petite body size.

good luck

if you do need a lift if it is done properly by a skilled

surgeon the results should be good. Lifts are usually really nice. I

love mine.

Good luck with your upcoming surgery.

Hi ,

I know society has us thinking that a B cup is smaller than average because so many celebrities have implants. It's an image that is just as unhealthy as anorexic models. It would be nice if there was a backlash against implants and no one would want to get them anymore.

When I studied abroad in Spain a couple of years ago, most of the women had small, natural breasts and they looked great. I felt so rediculous walking around with these big balloons on my chest.

I was thinking of wearing those silicone enhancers to work so that people wouldn't notice that I had surgery. Where did you buy yours? I saw some on the frederick's of hollywood website, but I'm not sure if they will look natural.

Thanks for the encouraging words. I will post photos too once I am through with surgery.

Kristi,

Make sure you get a copy of your operative report, and check to see about the scar capsule removal. You had a very short surgery, and it doesn't seem like you have suffered any soreness from it. Can you refresh my memory...did you have symptoms of illness?

Congratulations on your explant!

Patty

Hi Patty -

I did obtain a copy of the operative report as I am turning the

surgery costs into my insurance in hopes of reimbursement. I had a

capsule in the right breast - it was completely removed. I am still

a bit sore - but not taking any medication as it is just

uncomfortable.

Prior to finding this site - I was having neck/back pain, nausea,

seeing spots, numbness down my left arm and leg. I was in physical

therapy - had an MRI - seeing specialists - ect.. It was fortunate

that I saw a back specialist here in Dallas who told me that she had

treated other females with implants - and found they had simular

symptoms. I went home after my Dr. visit and found this site. It

is amazing how common my symptoms were. It was the ladies here that

helped me realize that the implants had to be removed. I had the

implants for 2 years and 9 months total.

It has been 1 1/2 weeks since my explant - the numbness in my arm

and leg is mostly gone - feeling great. Thanks again for all of

your help and support.
