Daughter with heterochromia

Hello I am hoping you all will be able to give me some advice. My daughter, now

6 months old, has two different colored eyes. One eye is a true blue, the other

is hazel to brownish. Now at 6 months of age it is likely that this is her eye

colors. My aunt has to different colored eyes and my cousin has a splash so I

am guessing this is where it came from.

I was wondering if you all had any advice to a parent that can help. As far as

any self esteem issues or teasing from other children? Of course we think the

two different eye colors is pretty cool, but I want to make sure that it never

is an issue for our daughter as well. Any advice or insight would be great!

I would say love her as a wonderful parent would and teach her that the

difference that she has is NOT a flaw and that just because it's not normal DOES

NOT make it ugly... I'm doing a photo book on people with this condition because

I find it absolutely beautiful and if you'd be interested please send me an
