Better to be safe than sorry is the way I feel about this. I have heard it said that since silicon dioxide, or the other silicones in supplements go through our digestive tract and out again, it really isn't that much of a concern, but I myself prefer not to take a chance. There are other supplements available that do not have silicone derivatives in their ingredient list, so I choose those.

Subject: silicon in vitamin question

I was looking up a supplement by cell tech called alpha sun and omega sun and under the trace elements it states "silicon 186 mcg" is that the same as silicone in implants? Is this something to stay away from?Barbara
