Guest guest
Barbara, Yes, it sounds all very normal to me! I can't say for certain if I had parasites or not, because I was not tested (although testing is not always clear either; everyone has parasites of some kind) but I treated myself under the assumption that I needed it anyway. Just to be on the safe side. I do know women who have done parasite cleanses and saw some very dramatic stuff. One of my silicone sisters did the Bernard Jensen cleanse, and she was very kind enough to share with her closest friends her whole regimen....the colonic board, the schedule for what you can put in your mouth, the supplements...the whole gamut, including what came out. She said it was a "get down on the floor screaming Jesus" moment when she saw what came out of her. I'm talking things with legs that were moving! I told you it was dramatic. This is a woman who literally had to crawl through her house she was so sick and bedridden (she had gel implants), and today she is back in her career and can go skiing with her kids. I am still in touch with her. I also belonged to a group at one time called bowel-cleanse. They covered the whole parasite issue there in depth, and I heard horror stories like the one above and more. Makes you afraid to be inside your own skin sometimes! You don't have to take the colloidal silver for parasites if you have second thoughts about it. I tend to only use colloidal silver sparingly, for colds or infections of some sort, as I am a little concerned about the greying effect, agria. Parasites can be effectively cleared out with herbs, like black walnut, wormwood and cloves. Raw pumpkin seeds too. Check out this site: http://www.curezone.com/diseases/parasites/parasitescleanse.asp It sounds like your doctor has a plan that is not too strenuous, especially considering that you can do this for much longer, and you can do it over and over again. As I've said before, detoxing is not a one time event. It is a lifelong endeavor, requiring lifestyle change, and a constant attention to what's going inside of you. It doesn't mean you have to live life like a prisoner, just be aware of seasonal needs for cleaning out, kinda like spring cleaning...except you can do a fall, winter and summer one too! Good luck and let us know how you do. Patty ----- Original Message ----- From: barbsul2002 Sent: Thursday, September 11, 2003 1:12 PM Subject: detox program I had a checkup today with a naturopath. My whole body is out of wack it seems everything is off. He did biomeridian test and a thermography and also looked at my blood under the microscope. Besides everything being either weakened or stressed my blood shows some parasites. I guess when your immune system is not functioning properly they grow. Did anyone hear of this? Well after explant he wants me to go on a liguid diet for 30 days. The shake contains eveything you need and I would also have to juice. Also he wants me to take colloidal silver for parasites and steam baths 35 min a day for 10 treatments. This all sounds like a lot to me.Did anyone have parasites?Barbara
Guest guest
Thank you everyone for the detox advice , I am going to look into the infrared and ozone saunas. I will keep everyone posted after my surgery and I am sure I will have a lot more questions on the surgery and the detox. I got a parasite and discovered that American Doctors don't know how to kill these dam things. I was ill for almost a year. All they wanted to do is keep putting me on antibiotics and not long enough. It would kill the adults but after about a week to two weeks I would be sick again because the eggs hatched. I finally found the product Clear from the awareness group. And it got rid of them. Its very easy just two pills a day for 90 days. Its all natural herbs, and there were no side affects. I use this product still about once a year just to be sure. Oh,I don't eat sushi anymore. Good luck to you. cricket
Guest guest
Barb, You can start a slow detox now. But be careful of what herbs and vitamins you take. I think they want you to stop Vit C before explant (it thins the blood and make anesthesia harder to take.) Detoxing can take the form of drinking more water, eliminating toxic foods (all processed foods), and exercising. Of course, there are lots more involved detoxes, but this can get you started. The hardest part is changing eating habits. Herxing can last a various amount of time. Don't worry about that yet...you need to get over the surgery first. Guest guest
Holly, This is awesome! I am so glad you have found something that helps you so much! I have done a couple of ozone saunas too, but I had bought an infrared sauna first. I ended up buying an ozone generator, in the hopes that the ozone therapy could help me in others ways, through insufflations. I did that for awhile, but have not really kept at it. I did vaginal insufflations, rectal insufflations, ear insufflations, and drank ozonated water. (Blah!) I may have to go have some of them ozone sauna's again! Thanks for the reminder! By the way, do you have any particular brand in mind, or any info on the one you are planning on buying? Thanks so much for the good report. That's what this is about! I don't feel alone and get so much from all of you. I just wanted to tell you all about something I have done that reallllllllllly helps and I think will eventually detox all the silicone. This summer, I was able to use a ozone sauna. It was incredible. Before the sauna, I was exausted all the time,(It was a chore to walk to the mailbox) weak, fibromyalgia, arthritis pain in my neck constantly, just to name a few. During and after the sauna, I road my bike to and from the beach daily(about 4 miles round trip) walk the beach (1/2 hour each way) do yoga for 1/2 hr, swim for 1/2 hour and then go to work. Oviosly I had greater energy, I felt great, I had people tell me during that time that I looked about 10-15 yrs younger and my skin looked great too! When you sweat, you sweat out toxins and then the ozone kills viruses and bacteria. I need to do this reguarly so I am purchasing one for myself so I can do a real through cleanse. I recommend it for anyone who is into detoxing. I can't wait to get mine. If anyone wants to know more, I'd be happy to share what I know,(through my brain fog) but that too cleared when I was using it. I just needed more. I got explanted in late March. I am making good progress. Thanks to all of you for talking so we can all share our own personal experiences. Sincerely, Holly
Guest guest
Before I reply to your question about a detoxing program, I would like to introduce myself. I just joined this list the other day on advice from a homeschooling friend/family that joined here as well. Hi and thanks for letting me know about this wonderful community! I live in Central Minnesota with my husband of 18 years and our two sons, Winchester and Remington. My sons are the fifth generation here on this homestead. We raise registered Red Angus cattle for seedstock, chickens, bronze breasted turkeys and pigs for butcher. We have the usual laying chickens too. We raise Border Collies, have 8 horses, 1 llama and 2 Emus. What fun! I came here as a country girl at heart and generations of country folk in Northern Minnesota. I was raised in towns throughout Minnesota but always knew my roots and spent summers on my grandparents farm in Deer River. I would not have ever raised my sons anywhere else but the country. We live by and with the seasons in a Back To Basics style of self-sufficiency. There is always more we can learn and that is why I joined this group. Ok, back to the detoxing program. Here are a couple websites about using bentonite clay for detoxing inside and out. It's easy, affordable and from years as an herbalist, soaper I can forward this information with confidence. http://www.shirleys-wellness-cafe.com/clay.htm http://www.mountainroseherbs.com/learn/bentonite.php Spring Blessings, Terri <http://www.ourlittleplace.com/detox.html> Cedarhaven Creations www.cedarhavencreations.com <http://www.cedarhavencreations.com/> My artwork http://www.mnartists.org/Theresa_Chidester http://www.rosarugosa.blogspot.com <http://www.rosarugosa.blogspot.com/> You are today where your thoughts have brought you; you will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you. Detox Program I am feeling the need to detox and cleanse my system. Basically, what I would like to know is how to do a detox. I am kind of unfamiliar with it. Do you take supplements? What do you drink? What do you eat? How long do you do it for? Please give me your advice on the best detox program you know. Thanks! (P.S. I did a quick search through the messages, but I couldn't find what I was looking for. So, I apologize if we have gone through this subject before in the past.) Guest guest
Check the FILES and try the LIVER FLUSH. This is one of the easiest and most powerful cleansing/detox experiences you will ever have. You will also find the EZ DETOX TONIC under BEVERAGE RECIPES as well. That's good if you don't feel you have time for a real flush. Spring is one of the best times to do a cleansing! *****Remember, you should never detox when pregnant or nursing. DETOX covers a lot of ground and means different things to different people. The liver however, is the hardest working organ in the body and it's the organ we are really " cleansing " when we do any detox. Nothing makes you feel worse than a sludged out liver, nothing makes you feel younger, sharper and more alive than a healthy, clean liver. ALSO 1) A daily dose of KOMBUCHA is cleansing. Also APPLE CIDER VINEGAR daily. 2) Drinking 1/2 gallon of mild saline solution, sipping it all day long 3) The clay formulation. I prefer MONTMORILLINITE to BENTONITE as it's 1000X as absorptive and doesn't leach trace minerals. 4) SAUNAS, especially the INFRARED 5) FOOT BATHS. You need to use the special electronic/mineral bath version 6) COLONICS 7) THE " DETOX BOX " A collection of herbs, vitamins and cleansers. Get it at health food stores. Very Powerful. Try this one too... EZ DETOX-TONIC This is a great and powerful cleansing that can be done without fasting and it causes none of the symptoms associated with other and deeper cleansing plans. It's easy to do this one when you are working or busy. It will be easier if you pick a time when you are not traveling or celebrating holidays. It's subtle, easy, cheap and you will feel refreshed and surprisingly energized after doing it. No one should fast or do any cleansing/detox programs while pregnant or nursing. mix the following in a blender: ~One peeled Grapefruit ~Juice of One Lemon ~1î Raw Ginger Root ~2 t. virgin Olive Oil ~2-4 Cloves of Garlic Mix in Blender Drink Before Breakfast Drink Daily for 10 days Avoid fried foods, over-eating, Junk Food, dessert, alcohol, sugar, † & excess coffee during the cleansing period. Drink plenty of water. Will Winter
