Just touching base with my saline support family.

I've been so busy that I missed all of you and reading my e-mail is

usually done between 3:00 A.M. - 5:00 A.M., The count down is 5 days

until explant. The Club is 2 days until I re-open after the Manager

embezeld,destroyed so much,signed checks,etc..I took advantage of

these 10 days of being closed to remodel. I believe that only good

will come out of this. The club is looking Good!, it's taken my mind

off the surgery. I had a furniture store and did alot of interior

designs.,so this time I decided to put my play side in the decor.I am

having alot of fun. My son 21 in January has truly become a blessing

he has brought together friends to help. He is awsome!, I am having a

special time with my son and his creativity. God always has a way to

make me smile, during the storm.

I was only able to read a little of the posts. I am terrible at

names, I think it is Debbi and Kristi that are at count down to

explant. I hear you ! this waiting and wondering, what will I look

like? Will I feel better? etc... I've had these Silicone Gel since

1989, 2nd set. The Whole town is wondering now, I've been almost

complete bed rest May - Sept 7th, 2003, now I sm remodeling, covered

in paint,building, laying on my back repairing, plumbing, etc..The

Spirt is Strong the body is following along. My Manager told all my

customers that My Silicone Ruptured. The Picture she drew was cruel.

I will not lie to them ,I told them the truth. The Whole Ugly Poison

Story. I had a illegal procedure done to my body, that was a

experiment without consent,(it came 16 months later)the response has

been beautiful. So many have come to me with genuine love and concern.

The blessing is right in front of me.

I take my pre-op,immunocal,infrared sauna 1hr (30 min,2 sets)lots of

water,lots of prayer. Daily

I will not let anyone see the pain ,You all know about this crap!

The only way to say it is my body hurts and wants to cry. I will

continue to lift you all in prayer. And that husband out there that

hurt your heart over breasts. Ask him! What does he cherish ? I am so

sorry He hurt you.

Noticed lots of new members, It's great that we have this group,

sometimes it's the only place to go when others don't understand.

I have noticed that the saline shows much more problems sooner than

silicone gel filled.The damage with the silicone is like a slow drip

of poison administerd daily after they rupture. By the time you

notice its already ran rapid through out. I need to work at sleeping

now. All the new members welcome to the group, I too am a very new

member as of May 2003, You will feel the warmth of caring ladies just

as they make me feel.

: is it just me or did you also notice we can not say anything postivie about our plastic surgeron, but others in this group continue with the negative comments and Patty has said nothing. Hope you are doing well.

Vicki- you can say all you want about your positive experience with our explanting doc, I still do- I just don’t mention her name out of respect for Patty's recent request. If a women is interested, they can email you personally about your choice of doctor, and outcome, as they have in my case.

Although I don’t fully agree with it- I don’t run the group, and therefore don't see the full issues at hand. One thing I have noticed, is there isn't constant bickering and fighting with the same people over her everytime I stated her name. I got sick of defending my experience, and how great she was/is to me. It was tiring.

On the flip side,although we cant include her name on the positive-There aren't as many opportunities now to make negative comments as much as there was, so I guess that is a good part of it all. Besides, for the group as a whole, it is better that it has been more positive here lately. Less negativity is better for the group as a whole. Ya know?

Who wants the new and confused poor souls looking for help, more confused and bewildered as they came across the posts going back and forth over the opinions of our Doctor? That just makes it a whole lot harder on these girls. Anyway, you can talk all about your experience, and if someone asks you who you went to you, just email that post back personally.

I do agree with you, on the same token, that no negative comments should be made with her name included- as it applies to the very same principle that Patty requested, simply that her name is not allowed at this time to be brought period. Negative or positive. As long as that remains the way it is, I can swallow Patty's request. Again, we aren't in her shoes, and sometimes I am glad I don't have to make her choices, as they are tricky tricky! It was crazy here for a while. I can actually think here now.

I am doing a lot better, and I hope you are too. How have you been feeling? Love,
