5m-209, 6m-200,7m-190, 8m-183, 9m-176 I seem to be holding there for now

I do need to start exercising. My goal is to reach 150 lbs.

Suzanne, I think I may be on the same scale as you. I weighed 288

the day of surgery(235ish now), I lost 18 lbs month one, 16 lbs month

2, and 15 lbs month 3. I'm halfway through month 4 and I've lost

about 3 lbs. I'm juggling the same 2 lbs back and forth, the bad

part about weighing once a day. I've been lifting weights, so I

expected to have a temporary flux in my weight. I'd hoped not to

struggle like this with each and every lb. I usually only lose one

week out of the month, and that week has come, and gone. I hope to

get a couple of more lbs off of me before my 4 month anniversary 2

weeks from now.

I am 17 months post-op and my weight loss slowed down in the 4th month also.

I went from a size 30 W to 20W's and stayed in those clothes for two months.

Your body has to adjust. It was during the 4th month, I stopped weighing

weekly and went to monthly. I decided I had lived and died by the scale my

whole life and my life no longer would revolve around how much I had lost. I

was much happier and my outlook better by just weighing once a month.

After the fourth month, I seemed to lose in spurts and around the 10th month

I didn't lose a lb. for 3 months. Since then it came off slowly. I am still

losing some although it amounts to 2 to 3 lbs per month.

Don't worry your body is going through many adjustments and you will continue

to lose.

Wow that is great news!

Looking at your weight now, you prove what I believed but was afraid to

believe: That it doesn't matter how it comes off...just that in the first 18

months it DOES come off :) 5 years from now who got there first won't matter

near as much :)

Big hugs and congrats!

Did you see the discussion of the Holosync solution on Dr. Mercola's site?

http://www.mercola.com/article/neuro_technologies.htm

I found this fascinating! I was almost ready to buy this...thought about asking for it for my birthday! It certainly sounds compelling.

I apologize for not getting back to you yet on the doc...I'm still trying to catch up in my office....have you decided one way or another yet?

No, they are too far for me right now. But the doc info I sent you other day, works under body bio detox

It is fascinating patty. never heard about it before. Let me know if anything comes of it. I havent made a decision yet, (on docs) I may wait for my apt in Oct to see if Dr Mercola will try the t3. I think it may be the last thing I need to heal properly. Heaven knows when the thyroid is off, or not being absorbed -all the issues you can get from being deficient.

Thanks for all your help on this one

Teacher is in the wrong line of work if this sort of issue would

cause her to have " fits " .

One of my kids was like this, went outside in the freezing rain and

took off all his clothes. Chelation helped normalize him.

My son also won't tie his shoes (won't even try) and it was a 'bone of

contention' between me and the teacher last year in kindergarden. She said

he " HAD " to tie his shoes by grade 1. No velcro allowed in schools here -

the kids have to wear the proper uniform and the right shoes in Grade 1. I

now homeschool which may not be perfect but much cheaper and at least I have

less problems with the teachers!

Just a suggestion.

Can't you get some velcro make tabs and sew it on the coat?
