Guest guest
Kristi, I just emailed Colleen on this and have gotten your messages and feel more comfortable commenting on this since I am only beginning my journey on my breast implant nightmare and can only GIVE SUPPORT ON WHAT I HAVE GONE THRU AND OVERCOME and that is not getting support from the man that I am sharing my life with when I needed it the most and I want you to know that I support you and know what that feels like. NEVER FORGET if your husband's lost soul on all of this doesn't come around, THERE IS A MAN OUT THERE FOR YOU THAT WILL LOVE YOU NO MATTER WHAT YOU LOOK LIKE or WHAT YOU GO THRU. I know it is hard and I never got married to mine we were almost there(engaged and planning the wedding) and we lived together for six years, so it pretty much felt like it but don't let it get you down. The man that will support you in EVERY WAY PHYSICALLY AND EMOTIONALLY IS OUT THERE. If it isn't your husband, he is out there. I hope and pray your husband will realize, like I told Colleen, what he will miss out on, if he doesn't come around. I look at like this when my soon to be husband wasn't there for me thru my miscarriages: The first miscarriage I DID HIM A FAVOR and forgave him and gave him another chance to be a better man to lead a better life for himself. The second miscarriage when he wasn't there, HE DID ME A FAVOR by showing me he could not be a better man emotinally and for that HE WASN'T THE BEST MAN FOR ME. I KNOW that there is a MAN out there for each and everyone of us that will be supportive EMOTIONALLY AND PHYSICALLY. Some of us have to go thru more relationships than others, but it will happen. I have accepted GOD is making me wait for that special man!Ha! I hope and pray that your husband sees the light and comes around and if he doesn't know you did what was the best thing for you and somebody will support you that much more for having the courage to remove the implants and not let all of that get in the way. THAT TAKES A VERY, VERY STRONG WOMAN TO DO THAT and that is what I feel from you! My soon to be husband was a boob man and I KNOW he would have not wanted me to get my implants out and would have made it very difficult. After not being there for me with two miscarriages and then this, I think I would have physically hurt him!HA God got rid of him before all my troubles with my implants last year because he didn't want to take that chance of finding out what I could have done to him!HA EVERYBODY ON THIS SITE including you, I am finding out cares and are very special, and because of that we all deserve the support we need. If the support is not there, I WILL BE THERE FOR YOU because I have found friends in all of you. Teri
Guest guest
Teri and - Thank you both for the support. I am not upset anymore by his attitude - just over it. It is the last thing I need to deal with right now! I am hanging in there for a few weeks to see if he comes around. I have surgery scheduled for the 26th... If he is not supportive - I have a network of friends, family and my new ladies here! I'll keep you posted. Guest guest
Dear Kristi, I am glad that you have this group and that you have support of others in your life. It is sad but if that is how your husband is going to be, better to find out now than after 30 years of marriage to him. I mean if he would rather have you sick with implants, than he does not care about you, and would be happy married to a pair of breasts. You have to think about the vows you took, in sickness and in health, for richer and for poorer. What if you lost a breast to CA would he not be there for you? What if he lost a leg in an accident, would you divorce him? Would you love him less? These kind of things are what are meant in those marriage vows, although allot of people these days seem to take it all with a grain of salt. It is sad but true that most marriages fail today, because people don't take these vows seriously. Anyhow I am rambling on and I am not trying to make you feel worse. The fact is that if this man is not going to stand by you and support you through explant and love you with your natual body then he may not be the right man for you as you grow old, age, lose your youthfulness etc. But I am sure there is someone out there for you that will love you unconditionally. Hopefully however, he is just scared and not seeing things clearly and will come around once things are clear to him. god bless you and may he guide you to the truth and keep you safe > Teri and - > > Thank you both for the support.
