The doctor who removed them told me that they were not double lumen - they were all silicone and they had ruptured all over my body. It took the doctor hours to remove only 70% of the silicone. Anyways, the doctor that did these lives in Durham, NC and told me that they were double lumen but never could provide me with serial numbers. I called and called and they said they did not have any. After the operation yesterday, the doctor wanted to see the documentation from the original doctor because he said they were a mess. Because I did not have serial numbers, I could never participated in the class action suits. I guess I am wondering if anyone had this happen to them? Any information would be much appreciated.
