The National Center for Policy Research (CPR) for Women & Families, a nonprofit think tank and advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives of women and children has the following opening:

STAFF SCIENTIST/SENIOR POLICY RESEARCH ASSOCIATE

We are seeking an experienced professional with excellent statistical and research methodology skills who can interpret and "translate" research findings into compelling and persuasive information for policy makers, the media, and the public. A medical degree or doctorate in science, psychology, or public health is required. Experience working with the media or on Capitol Hill are preferred. The ideal candidate will be attentive to details, well-organized, dedicated to our issues, have excellent oral and written communication skills, and work well individually and as part of a team. Salary up to mid-$60’s depending on experience, + generous benefits.
