Guest guest
Beth I also had a positve ANA with the implants that has since went away and has been negative now for the last year since explant. It a sign that your body is reacting right now very strongly against something, or itself. Defintly, it is a reading into your health that you are sick, and are at risk for auto immune illnesses like myself. get those puppies out! you are in good hands. Everything was normal except for the ANA results. They were at 1.80 with a normal of 1.40, I think that's right, my hands were shaking so badly I wasn't sure if I wrote it down correctly. Can someone tell me what ANA exactly is and what the test mean?! I'm still on to see Dr. Kolb tomorrow at 1:30 EST. Is this a good sign that something is actually showing up on the blood tests and this is not in my head? My left arm continues to tingle and the left side of my face is numb on and off. Thanks,Beth
Guest guest
--Hi, This usually means that your antibodies are a little higher in your blood, and this means your body is at war w/something... This elevation could happen in FM, CFS, RA or Lupus... but just as fast as it goes up it can come down... your body makes antibodies to kill something foreign in your body.... You could get alot of answers if you go to accidental patient dot com and do a search for ANA tests this site is for chronic illnesses.... Blessings, Iggy Ill keep you in my prayers... - In , " bethlakey " <bethlakey@y...> wrote: > Hey, it's me again.
