I have FM/CFS from my saline implants...I was just explanted three and a half weeks ago. I gained 50 pounds during the time that I was sick. I used to model and I was Ms. Lite and Ms. Hawaiian Tropic...now I feel like a cow. My metabolism is so low. Even when I take medicine, it seems not to effect me like it should...I'm guessing because of my low metabolism. Anyway, you are not alone with the weight gain!

Hi Iggy,

Start with looking over all the info on the website--we have a list of recommended explanting docs, and all the other info you may need there on the site, (links, studies, photos) and I am sure many of the other women on this group can help you with getting started too,.... but basically the first thing is to just make the decision to remove them and be confident that you are doing the right thing for your health. They may or may not be responsible, and I don't think anyone can tell you for sure, but you'll know when you get them out and get better. There may be a thyroid issue going on...the most common reason for weight gain, and a very common problem among implanted women.
