Guest guest
>>> I don't really know that much about making soap(yet!) But I thought it would be a really cool thing to do! <<< Hi and welcome. Yep, making soap is cool, can be fun, and is VERY addictive. When you make your first successful batch, the feeling is great. I love making soap. Guest guest
Haven't been around for awhile since I haven't been doing Herr EtG testing for over a year. Hope everyone is doing well. However, back in family court for child support reasons and ye old booze things comes up again as a favorite unsubstantiated negotiating tool, and there was no way I was doing the BS EtG dillution trap thing again so I volunteered to pay for a SCRAM bracelet for six weeks -- works fine, but man does it hurt your ankle -- if anyone get's one of these here's some tips they don't tell you about! (1) if you press on the plastic things on the front and back of the bracelet it makes it easier to clean around it. (2) if you sleep with you bracelet foot crossed on top of your non- bracelet foot it relieves some of the pressure. (3) adjust it often or you're going to get all scabbed up, use Neosporin with a bandaid. (4) wear a white tube sock and roll it up tight underneat the bracelet so it doesn't bounce around when you are walking. (5) avoid flying kites as chasing the wind with your kid will wreak havoc on your ankle! (6) wear khakis with wide bootlegs as opposed to jeans, jeans are easy to get on, tough to get off (7) it doesn't look as small as the picture on the website! (8) use a thin white t-shirt to clean between the bracelet (and the inside of the bracelet so the " booze sniffer " doesn't get clogged up) and your pinky finger to clean your leg -- and do it at least once a day -- like when you shower. (9) cover up your bracelet with a tube sock and wear pants (put a rubber band around the cuff of your pant leg) when mowing the lawn -- I don't know if the gas will affect the test, but trying to get grass cuttings out from between your leg and the bracelet isn't much fun, and better to be on the safe side). (10) have fun with explaining why you're wearing it " I'm testing a new tracking system for Homeland Security " or " I'm part of a new national satellite reality show and you're on TV right now " sort of thing. Although it is uncomfortable and pretty stupid looking if you're wearing shorts -- it's about the same, at least for me, as paying $45 twice a week for the sketchy EtG test, and you don't have to waste time driving all over town to pee, or worry about drinking too much coffee, water or soda. My best to everyone, and thanks again to Lori!
