Guest guest
Indeed! I haven't made any KT since my friend passed away. I still have some in the fridge. Since I don't have much, what I do is in a 500ml bottle put 1/2 water and 1/2 KT . It is very refreshing, and for people who don't like plain water that is a great mixture. My fav. combination is Oolong and Pu-erh. Love it! Love Marina Oolong Tea Hi EveryOne, Last night I remembered that Oolong tea makes excellent KT. I used to combine some Black, Green and Oolong and maybe a bit of Early Grey, while making KT and the Oolong adds a lovely fruity taste to the brew. Just bought some today to try it again in tomorrows KT. Having my first cup of white tea, but I added honey and the flavor of the honey overpowered the white tea so next time I will drink it plain. Meanwhile the honey has a nice flavor too:-)) Peace, Love and Harmony, Bev
Guest guest
look in your local grocery stores that have an organic section, they will usually have teas in that section. there are health food stores and last try asian markets, i've found it at a local asian market and it's a lot cheaper than the stores > > I read in one of the post that you can get ooloong tea from Wholefoods Mkt. Guest guest
This time around I found the oolong tea at whole foods. Let me tell you I am on day 17 of phase two and I started taking the oolong tea two days ago and my weight started dropping at a fast pace again. I was only dropping .2lbs a day now I drop 1-1 1/2 lbs a day. Last time I bought oolong I found it at a local health food store. It was only like $6 for a huge box but I ddint see any results. I bought the stuff from whole foods and its approx $4.50 for a box of 16 but the results seem better. The name brand is Choice Organic Teas that I use. Hope that is in some way helpful. Guest guest
Hi! , I also bought the " Choice Organic Teas " brand of Oolong and it does appear to make a difference! My box of tea only ha 16 tea bags at approximately $6, but certainly can be worse! At first I couldn't stand the flavor, but now I'm getting used to it and adding some stevia really helps! Probably the difference is the potency and truly being organic and combined with the Hcg, as well. >From: Richling <jrichl002@...> >Reply- > >Subject: Re: oolong tea >Date: Wed, 16 May 2007 06:34:37 -0700 (PDT) > >This time around I found the oolong tea at whole foods. Guest guest
I'm not a pharmacist, but I *am* a tea fanatic. The term " fermented " as it applies to teas is a misnomer: teas are actually oxidized, a different process from fermentation. Black teas are completely oxidized, oolongs are partially oxidized, and green teas are - well - green. Nothing brewed from pure camellia sinensis - the botanical term for tea leaves - contains any alcohol whatsoever. I would stay away from herbal teas unless you know exactly what you're doing. A lot of them contain substances that could cause you to flunk a drug screen - particularly if they contain ephedra, ma huang, or " Mormon tea " . And kombucha tea, popular with the health food crowd, is about 0.5% alcohol: not enough to get most people high, but definitely enough to screw up your EtG. I love oolong myself. I'm partial to Iron Goddess brewed in a purple-clay Xing pot using the gong fu method (which is undoubtedly TMI). > > Are we allowed to drink oolong tea? I read somewhere it was partly > fermented. Guest guest
And of course, the sticky wicket is: If it makes you positive for ETG, no, you're not allowed. If it doesn't, then yes, you are allowed. Of course you may lose your license trying to find out... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Keep The Faith~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Eva> >> > Are we allowed to drink oolong tea?
