here you can get all kinds of tests done. it is the only lab that dose these kinds of tests. They are very expensive however, ins. will cover 80%. there is a silicone antibiody test for only 125. also if you pay up front they cut the price in half.

About telling your doctor concerning the implants. I think doctors are more open to things when you go in knowledgable and you sound very knowledgable. I use to have depression and use to be very confused about what was going on with me, I never related it to the implants. I was brushed off as depressed etc. Now I go in armed with information. I think it challenges them in a way that they are on their toes. I file my papers in a 3 ring binder, armed with questions, tests and protocols. I'm really rather new here myself and only had explant 1 mo. ago. Find a Dr. Kolb from healing protocols, etc. if you can afford it she will provide intravenous antibiotics. Chealatin, is good too. You're on the right track. Much ahead of me I'm sure. Hope you're feeling improved. Do you have fibro, or connective tissue disease? You're dr. sounds great. God Bless. Love

Hello All!First time posting. Have been with this group for some time so I have gotten a lot of info here already from just reading everyone's posts. Thank you! But still, I am going to a new Dr. in a couple of weeks and would appreciate some input. I have looked in the files and database but am wondering what tests other than the ones listed below that I copied here>>>.... there are certain blood tests that can be done that will find abnormalities associated with autoimmune diseases. We find that many women don't always have abnormal blood work initially, but as time goes on, some have shown elevations in ANA levels, rheumatoid factors, abnormal thyroid tests, sed rates, complements and other markers.......I have heard it is not a good idea to tell the Doctor you suspect implants as most are not open

enough, although, this is a new MD I am going to a first time visit with. He works with herbs also, that tells me he is progressive and may be more open to helping me. ( My first Doctor told me to remove them but offered no help whatsoever, LOL, I realize this is not uncommon!) So I am trying this new Doctor hoping he can help me. I have done healing on my own through the gamut of herbs and alternative supplements that this group has pretty much heard of. My Goal is that he may add some healing modalities such as Chelation etc, or at least verify that I have something immune related going on. Questions: Should I tell him I had pain in my breast and had them removed, and am taking a host of alternative medications? Or should I not admit I believe it is the silicone leakage I had and just let him ask me about what the last Doctor found, which was the broken implant and just leave it at that - let him run what tests

he wants and not tell him what I am doing. If I say something should I mention the tests info above or not? Also, I heard somewhere but not in the files - there is a way to check for silicone in the blood ,mentioned in a recent post. If I have blood tests done, I am taking so many alternative supplements and things my guess is that may keep blood tests from showing anything wrong. The alternative supplements help tremendously but do not keep me from needing antibiotics periodically ( that alleviate migraines, vomiting, fatigue) as I apparently still have an infection in the breast and/or random silicone poisoning. (Had capsulectomy, but didn't know to insist on drains and antibiotic rinse) I had them removed last December and realize it takes a couple of years or more to clear it out. Thanks in advance for the support and positive feedback!

,

Left end of your post above. I do appreciate the valuable info you

gave me. Went to the Lab sight and I will definitely keep that in

mind! You are saying above Dr. Kolb may be willing to put me on

intravenous antibiotics if I ask her even if I am not going to see

her? That would be something to consider also.... COULD YOU elaborate

on that pretty please?

The symptoms I have left now(down from a very long list)are basically

fatigue, migraines, nausea and vomiting, & very dry skin. I attribute

the fact that I do not have extreme problems - meaning the fibro etc,

to that as my immune system started breaking down I was constantly

working on building it up. I feel bad for all who have those symptoms

to deal with!!!!!!!

I thought the migraines and vomiting were due to climate problems and

that my " woozy " immune system just could not handle the extreme

desert dryness. I had moved out to Arizona 10 years ago and that was

when the sinus stuffiness etc kicked in. I was always trying

different sinus alternative medicines, surgery, to no avail but did

find relief in using all the possible immune builders I could find,

(adding them slowly to my regimen). Goldenseal is the main thing that

stops the extreme headaches and nausea so that was another reason I

thought I had sinus infections, after all, when I took the Goldenseal

for 10 days it cleared up. I did not feel pain in my breast till I

had finally gotten so sick I lost my home, job and car and then out

of desperation went to the " Drug " Doctor and went in for a routine

mammogram. They did an ultrasound and MRI too and I felt pain when

the pressed down on my breast. I panicked because I thought I had

breast cancer.... Those tests I believe caused the implant to rupture

further and for financial reasons I did not take them out for another

8 months knowing I was being poisoned.......

It also messed up my hormones so badly that I was extremely suicidal

but all the Doctor did was load me up on estrogen pills, shots and

crème and tell me I should take out the implant. Never helped me in

any other way, although the extreme estrogen did stop the suicidal

thoughts, mental torture, and extreme crying jags.LOL

Thanks to all here, and especially thank you for the

feedback! You really make a difference in my life!

Thanks for reading my long post....

: I work for a OB/GYN and from experience now that no doctor will put a patient on IV antiboitics or any other meds without having seen them in the office. That is malpractice.

She never gives any clients medications unless they are patients., so that is a misunderstanding.
