Zoloft vs. Lex (& gaining weight)

Hmmm. It is interesting what you hear on the " weight " issue on Lexapro. I

think it comes out to about 1/3 lose weight, 1/3 gain weight, 1/3 stay the same

weight! I lost weight on Lexapro, as it took away my need to " Comfort Eat " (at

least as much!). When my sister first went on Prozac, she lost a bunch of

weight. But then she built up a resistance to the Prozac and put it all back on

again plus THEN some. Poor gal. I tell her she should change to Lexapro, but

so far she's not listening to me.

I belong to the Zoloft message board also, and I can tell you that

it's full of people moaning and groaning about all the weight they've

gained. It baffles me, but there you have it.
