This post may be a repeat, and if it is sorry! I don't think the original ever got over though! Do any of you girls here have problems with your heart, or chest pains, or heart attacks you think may be realted to implants? Did it get better after explant? Please post. Does anyone know of any studies re: Heart problems from breast implants? I looked on the internet and could only find one study.

I'm only asking as my neighbors friend has implants for 2 years, is 30 yrs old, in great shape, and just had 3 heart attacks. They are wondering if it is related, and if I could get them some info, or studies. Poor girl. Thanks ! ---- Original Message -----

Subject: Need help...bruise that won't go away...

I was explanted 2 weeks ago today via the armpit/under muscle.I had a few bruises and all have gone except on that is on my side, about 2 inches from bottom of armpit.I am a little concerned because it isn't fading at all, and it still looks purpleish.Do you think I still might be bleeding a little? Is this something I need to be worried about? It isn't getting any bigger...just not fading. Can anything be done about this? I am putting arnica gel on it.

Subject: heart issues

,I am to be explanted in December by Dr. Feng. Last March, I had chest pains and felt like I was having a heart attack. I am 42 years old and have had implants x 14 years. I have been ill for 5 yrs with fibro. Anyway, the doctor did tests on me and my lab revealed an elevated c-reactive protein. He said it was elevated in chronic inflammatory conditions and was a risk factor for heart disease. It is a very high risk factor for cardiac problems because it inflames the lining of the arteries. I am a cardiac RN x 20 years, but have not worked over the past year due to my declining health. I believe and my doctor that the elevated C-reactive protein could be due to a foreign object (implants) and then over years the inflammation of the arteries causes clots to form, and blockages to form. Thereby, increasing the risks of heart attacks and coronary artery disease. What have you heard recently?Take care, Please forward to the saline support group so we can get their feedback. Thanks.
