In Observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Ø Why most women getting mastectomies in the U.S. don't need them

Ø Why treatment is more debilitating for women of color, women with male doctors, and women living in the South, Midwest, and Southwest

Ø Why mammograms sometimes result in unnecessary mastectomies

Ø What new studies tell us about breast implants

Ø How we can work together to improve the quality of treatment for all women and empower women to make the treatment decisions that are best for them
