Guest guest
Hey Shauna how was your Thanksgiving? Anyway I had the cramps/adrenline in my legs big time last week but that was when I stopped the Remeron and went on the Luvox. I've had that side before Remeron with other SSRI's but I don't know if I would have that with the Lex on its own since I've always taken the Lex with other meds. I know that I'm probably not much of a help, but I just wanted to say that you are not the only one to feel this. Let me ask you this how are you feeling anxiety wise? And also is there any other part of your body that you feel stiff especially in the neck or back by your spine. If so my P-Doc says that for me at least its anxiety and not the Lex. Anyways I hope you had a good holiday otherwise, mine was full of Panic attacks and depresion, but that's where a call is going into my P-Doc tommorrow... Guest guest
Hi, I've had problems with leg cramps for a long time...way before I started taking Lexapro. I also get the restless leg syndrome. I use magnesium oxide and a herb called butchers broom at bedtime and it really helps a lot. Guest guest
Hi Shauna, The literature I got with my refill of Lex this week says: " Contact your doctor immediately if you experience ... muscle cramps, restlessness.... " and more, including uncontrolled movements (tremors). Hope this helps. Muscle aches > I am wondering something....does anyone else here have muscle > cramping or just kind of an ache in the legs?? Guest guest
I've been taking Lexapro about 6 weeks now, and the muscle cramping is gone. I did have them up until about 4 weeks on Lexapro. Maybe it's just in the adjustment period.
