Guest guest
There are a lot of things looking back, that I can, and do laugh at, like being in a restaurant and suddenly with cheeks full blown running with napkin in hand just in case you don't make it to the restroom in time. Enough I will stop with that and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Healthy New Year. F F it isn't funny, but the way you tell it, and having been there, it is hilarious!!! Guest guest
Hi Yes, it was me that mentioned Crycopharyngeal Achalasia. I have had a Nuclear Medicinge Gastric Swallow and it shows a severe holdup in the bottom of my stomach and a hold up at the Crycopharyngeal Sphincter and next Tuesday that is the 11th August I am to have a Gastroscopy to see why there are these holdups and to check on the state of my Small Intestine where the Pej feeding tube enters it. Then I am to see the surgeon the following Monday morning for a chat. Even he said that it is possable to have Crycopharyngeal Achalasia in the bit of Oesophagus that I have left after having the rest removed in my ectomy in October 2004. from the UK ________________________________ From: michelle <mcnairmichelle@...> achalasia Sent: Thursday, August 6, 2009 5:43:01 PM Subject: F Hey , I think it's who has spoken about Chrico pharangeal (sp?) A. Have you had a scope recently? I know your surgery was many years ago but is it possible that there's new scarring or swelling at the anastamosis from your gastric pull up? That may feel the same. I know that when I was still battling scar tissue, it felt like A, just much further up in my E. Really scary actually. If it doesn't settle, I'd get in a barium and an EGD and have them see what's up. How often to you get routine screens done? I'm curious for myself as I've just had a barium, EGD and dilation done with Dr. L but I've been feeling really good so I'm thinking I won't go see him for another 2 years. I've kind of had it in my head to go every 2-3 years, like when I still had A. What do you think? hope all else is well. Good luck with the pacemaker. - in NC

Guest guest
Thanks , I just had a nuclear test as a prep for my pacemaker, after things settle down I will see my GI Dr. I haven't had and endoscopic exam in a number of years.
