Guest guest
Robin, is Wellbutrin the same story? How about Prozac? I thought I read somewhere that diluting urine by drinking lots of water won't really affect ETG, is that true? Anyway, I know in California the BRN will treat " dilute " urines--ie, anyone hydrated!--as a positive test, so it's useless to do so anyway. Will waiting to take a med after you test really help? I mean, supposedly you took it the day before, and the day before that, etc.. Thanks for letting me pick your brains--mine is empty ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~KEEP THE FAITH~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Eva > I am taking Celexa 20mg/day. Guest guest
Thank you, Robin; the wellbutrin metabolism is hepatic with a half life of about 20 hours, so one could conceivably work around that. However, Prozac, also hepatic, has a half life of 3-5 days. How in the world does one work around that? (Rhetorical, Robin, I don't expect you to have the answers I'm afraid of going off my antidepressants, I've seen too many people relapse doing that. I can't even ask my doctor for help, because like most people, she doesn't even know what ETG is. Good God I am scared now!! I need to start seriously looking at a new career!! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Keeping (barely) the Faith~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Eva > > I am taking Celexa 20mg/day. Guest guest
I'm an athlete (and nurse), and drinking too much water is where *I* got into trouble...they started considering my low creatnine levels " positive " screens. As a result, for the remaining three years in Diversion, I went into a permanent state of dehydration. Whereas, my motto--and that of my fellow athletes--when asked, " How's your urine? " (by our coach), was to respond " Clear and flowing, thankyouverymuch " ...while in Diversion, my response became " Dark, concentrated and barely dripping. " Sad, but true. I " graduated " back in January, however, I swear I have some sort of Post Traumatic Stress going on over how much I had to obsess about my food & water intake...and, now that I'm a bonafide member again of the " clear and flowing " club, I still feel some sick sense of guilt every time I unscrew the cap on my water bottle. Hang in there, friends...I'm pullin' for you :-) KayJay > > I am taking Celexa 20mg/day.
