I have been asking the same questions, I have asked to see the actual statistics from Mentor,FDA, News Media. They keep talking statistics they just do not give me any. I have had Silicone in me for 14 years, Removed Sept 17,2003. This is a very good question. I wish I could give you a answer. Soon we will have a way of getting the answer. I have been also working on this. According to the Government,Plastic Scrappers(I refuse to call them surgeons anymore) there is'nt any sick, we are all NUTS,.I am only talking about the PS's that are in denial of this Cover Up.

There has to be a Master List of some kind. Every Implant has a serial number or name on it. Well. it is suppose to, the black market,Lies,etc...somehow we should get a count of some kind. We just have to keep searching for the answers.

I don't think anyone has any way of knowing, due to negligence in keeping any type of registry. I believe the Netherlands is now keeping a registry, and perhaps in a decade or so, if it is well kept, they may have some objective numbers to help draw appropriate conclusions.
