Guest guest
Hi all I am new to the site and have been reading the last few days. Sorry to all of you for you pain. I had a few ? and was wondering if anyone could help. I was told last week by my local Dr that my implants had ruptured, my breasts have been very sore for a while and they are not so firm anymore. I got the Saline implants 3 years ago. The surgeon implanted through the nipple as I got a lift also, anyway about a month after the implants the little plastice things they put under the nipple, the left side gave out and the nipple went large, so I went and had that fixed, anyway 3 years later now both nipples are large as they both broke and was about a month ago I felt something sharp under them and had like fish line wire? poking through and pulled it out. anyone have that happen to them? apart from the soreness of the breasts, burning sensation and how soft they have gotten thats the only reson I thought something was wrong. I am reading some of your syptoms and I was like OMG, I am so tired all the time, ok in the mornings then by afternoon time I was to tired to do anything, so I am thinking maybe these leaking implants have something to do with that also. Anyway I have decided that at this point I want them removed and not have to face further surgery again in the future and all the stress just thinking about it and wondering what they will look like etc, big breasts are not everything, and health is more important. Thank you for all of these posts, I was freaking out before I found this message board, and unsure of what I should do to replace or not and there is so much positive information on here you helped put my mind at ease and know i am doing the right thing by getting them out. I go for a consulte on Nov 6th and now can't wait to get it all over and done with. Thank you everyone, Keep a positive attitude, just think of all those pretty little bras out there that they don't do in big sizes I am looking forward to shopping for them already
Guest guest
Thats wonderful that our site has helped you, it helped me immensly! You made my day. I couldnt have survuved this without all the girls having been there, with all their praise, support and advise. Good for you, get them things out, you will be happier in the end anyway. And healthier. Whats the point of big breasts taking you to the the grave anyway? Who will see them there? Live it up , and have a great day! >From: "welshwitch68" >Reply- > >Subject: Info help please >Date: Mon, 27 Oct 2003 15:11:37 -0000 > >Hi all I am new to the site and have been reading the last few days. >Sorry to all of you for you pain. Guest guest
Hi there, How did your consult go on the 6th? I hope you got some good news, (in terms of the understanding about the need for implant removal). Most women are told that the implants are not hurting them and that getting them out is not necessary, indeed, is not recommended. But we know better..... let us know what is going on....looking forward to hearing from you. Guest guest
Hi Patty, Thanks for checking up on me I have still been reading everything. I went to my appt on the 6th, to be told by the Plastic surgeon he thinks they are not leaking! So one Dr said they were now this one said no? All he did was feel them, I thought I was going there for an ultrasound on them. Anyway I still want them taken out, so I am thinking get Thanksgiving and Xmas over with and then get them removed. (I have another surgery the 24th) Then gives me chance to save 4,000 to get them out. Thats 10,000 for boobs for 3 years LOL! Now am am wondering why I even got them. I have just been so stressed out since the first Dr said they had ruptured and then reading everything on here made me just want them gone, they are not worth the health risks and all the problems that go along with them. This site has been a tremendous help to me, and I have been reading up on everything and love the way you all pull together and help people. Thank you so much for everything that you are doing. *~Patty~* <fdp@...> wrote: Hi there, How did your consult go on the 6th? Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for the update! It sounds like you have a good plan. Do you know who will do the explant yet? You are right, implants are definitely not worth the health risks. I'm so glad you have realized that, and that we've been helpful in that regard. Keep us posted!
