Just so you all know, this isn't spam. This is a legit study being done through

Harvard.

I checked this out before approving the post at the Celexa group and I also

informed , who posted this to begin with, that she was welcome to post this

at the Lexapro group as well.

There have been genetic connections made among various mental and emotional

health issues. I think this kind of research is very important. If I had known

that I was predisposed to depression and anxiety, for instance, I could have

taken better care of myself to begin with and may not have ended up crashing and

burning as I did. This kind of research benfits not just us but more importantly

our families, our children.

Family Genetics Study of OCD, Tourette's, and ADHD

Hi everyone,

Researchers at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are looking for

families with a child at least 6 years old diagnosed with one or more

of these three conditions to participate in a genetic study. All family

members will be asked to complete interviews, questionnaires and

assessments examining thinking processes. We also want a blood or

saliva sample from everyone for DNA testing.

Families will be paid $100 upon completion of all study tasks.

**We will be visiting Houston, TX from March 15-24th. If you live in

that area, please contact us ASAP. We are also seeking families in New

England, NY, and NJ.

If you are interested in learning more about this research study,

please visit our website at www.ts-adhd-ocd.org which contains our

contact information.

Thanks!
