Guest guest
Hi ladies, I have been researching more and getting some recommendations on explant surgeons in the Bay Area. I got a couple referrals, but I would to talk to more surgeons. I was told Dr. Feng and Dr. Tsao are good surgeons, but they require travel and I don't think I can afford Dr. Feng. I don't know about Dr. Tsao, but he is very busy. I can't get a consultation until Jan. 8th! Is there anyone who has experiences with surgeons around San Francisco who does good explant? thanks, Judy.

Guest guest
So your a bay area girl eh? I am from there myself! Anyhow I could not find anyone there that I was comfortable with, and I worked at Stanford Med center, I ended up going to Dr Feng, because frankly she was the only one I would trust. I also felt I could not afford her, but when I started comparing prices of local Dr's to Feng the difference did not seem big enough for me take chances with my health or my surgical outcome. So I looked into hotels etc and it really was not too bad. I had to borrow the money from my parents but it was 100% worth it to me to have the outcome I have had. It really is allot of money but the travel is not too bad and there was some fun things to do in Cleveland. ANyhow good luck in your search, maybe there is someone there that someone else here knows about.
