My suggestion would be to go in and get them personally--anything you need to sign you can sign right in front of them, and this way too, they are less likely to have the time to mess with your records. Sometimes they don't always give you everything that is in your file. The best scenario would be if you could just be right there when they take the file out of its location so they don't have time to remove anything first.

thats is not true. with the new hippa regulations a doctors office has thirty days to pull and copy your records and get them mailed to you.
