Guest guest
this sounds fine. But like I mentioned in other post, insist enbloc from the start even if you have saline because you don't really know what you're getting into. all implnats have silicone shells and if there is a rupture you'll be breaking into it. Just ask him will you be as aggressive as possible, do en bloc from the start. See its two differnet procedures they preform on us. One if you tell them saline implants. Oh they take out the capsule too but first the implnat and then the capsule. No! we don't want that we want it taken out in one piece. This is harder for them and a more aggressive surgery but its necessary. thats one of the points of en bloc to keep all the silicone together. I know mine spilled and I had terrible burning afterwards in breast tissue. Fierce pain and aching joints and swollen lymph noids for about 3 weeks post op. But I'm coming around now. get drains for sure too. Important to get poisons out. You'll do fine with him. I think you can tell if he has a good reputation at a good hospital, etc. Let me know God Bless, iggyrn2b <iggyrn2b@...> wrote: Hi, thanks for all the advice... I know I should see someone else, but I dont really have the funds to pull up extra expenses... I am hoping he will just charge me for anethesia and the O.R. I might just be praying for a miracle... this is not a good time financially for us... when it rains it pours... This doc is well known and he does not have the ego or any attitudes and the receptionist told me he removes implants alot of times.... they were very supportive!!! I pray it stays that way... I will mention to him about the en bloc surgury... I know I wont be able to stay in a hospital overnight though... Ill keep you posted as soon as the woman from the office calls me to set up times and dates and prices.... God bless, and thank you again, Iggy
