Wow! I started feeling better about 3-4 days

after starting Lexapro. I Wish I lost 25# in 2 weeks!!!

I have had stomach issues since I was 19 and I'm 54 now

so I can't give any info on that. My doctor always

attributed it to my nerves. Good Luck!

Lex is way nicer to me than any of the others

i was just wondering when you start feeling better after a severe

reation to lexapro. i took one pill and eight days later i took one

more now seven days after that i still can't eat and i've lost 25

pounds in two weeks. i was wondering if anyone else got diahrea from

lexapro and how long it took to go away.

I am no expert but it sounds to me that maybe lexpro isnt the med for you if it

is causing such a severe reaction. You will never be able to tolerate the doses

required for it to work.

I was pretty lucky - the list of side effects put me off trying it for 2

months but when I did I had no real problems apart from an increase in my

anxiety for a few days after the first week.

Maybe your doc would try you on another SSRI or a SNRI ?

why aren't u taking the pills everyday?it takes about 3-4 weeks to get

into your system.the waiting time sucks, but it will be worth it.i

have found that the pill doesnt work by itself,you have to do other

things too.....exercising helps.i am also reading a book that helps

you to think more positive, and less negative.i took lexapro for a

while, but stupidly stopped due to the sexual side effects.then 2

months later plunged right back into depression!!!i am currently

taking effexor xr, and after 3 weeks...feel great!!!!i have soo much

energy....love it....good luck and hang in there....it will get

better....
