Guest guest
I take my thyroid pill at 5:45 am. I have to wait an hour after I take it before I can eat anything; otherwise it binds to the food and doesn't get digested. Then I take my lisinipril for blood pressure at 6:45 am. Then I eat breakfast and go to work. I take my Lexapro at work about 8:00 am. Colleen Manoj Patel <wigwamrte66@...> wrote: do most people here take lexapro during the morning? Guest guest
Oh, wow. I've been taking my lexapro at about 10AM, the first few days I felt very tired and sleepy. I still feel a bit tired during the day, but just kind of yawn through it. it has relieved anxiety, but was hoping that lexapro would give me more of a kick. > do most people here take lexapro during the morning? Guest guest
did you have fibromyalgia prior to taking ssri's? I'm on my 3rd week on lexapro 10mg and have been feeling very very tired during the day. I sleep just about 10 hours and nap for 1 to 2 hours during the day - it's terrible. Do you have similar experiences? Guest guest
Yes, I had the fibromyalgia long before I started the Lexapro. I've only been on Lexapro for almost a month. This is the first time I've ever been on any antidepressants. My doctor said that many of her fibromyalgia patients have started antidepressants because chronic pain can definitely cause depression. Guest guest
I never heard of Cymbalta. I'll have to ask my doctor about it. I went to a rheumatologist once for the fibromyalgia and he wanted to put me on Celebrex, but I declined as I'd heard bad things about it. When the pain gets bad I take 2 extra strength Bayer aspirin. I do have Flexeril, which is a muscle relaxant, to help with the fibromyalgia pain. I take it as needed, one at bedtime. Guest guest
Cymbalta is an AD. The newest truly new one on the market. I've heard good and bad about it as you do with any new drug. It's one that you seem to know within a week if it's going to work or not. And there doesn't seem to be much middle of the road: Either it works or it doesn't. I was recently diagnosed with neuropathy in my feet. They can't find a physical cause such as an underlying condition: Diabetes is a good example. They have me on such weird meds now I'm thinking I may ask my doc about switching to Cymbalta and see what happens. If I can take one drug that will take care of three problems why take two? I'm currently on Effexor XR. Have been for over 2 years now. Barbara Re: Re: lexapro and melatonin Yes, I had the fibromyalgia long before I started the Lexapro.
