I wish I had confirmed answers to your questions, but this subject is just one that does not have absolutes. Most doctors will tell you that lupus is irreversible, but I have read of cases where it has gone into remission and flares have not reoccurred. Detox can help--Dr. Fuhrman discusses this in his book on Fasting and Eating for Health. Some cases of lupus have been drug-induced, so there is hope that detoxing can prevent further flares. Dr. Max Gerson's therapy has brought about cures for lupus, so there is definitely hope.

The big difference between these cases and ours is the presence of silicone...there is just no way of knowing for sure how badly our systems have been affected by its presence.
