I may be wrong ... but I have no experience in Dow paying for explant surgery ... even with identification and 2 ruptured implants ... I hope I'm mistaken and will hear from some of our women to correct me and be able to help you.

The reason I am so desperate to get the manufacturer's name is ..I have NO insurance and No money to have them removed, I went to Public Health Dept. here just to find out why the tissues under my breast were so hot to the touch and were painful,the "Nurse Practioner" gave me antibiotics,told me to use a heating pad on my breast then sent me for the Ultrasound and that is how I know they are leaking she also had ordered a Mammogram but I refused as there is no way I was going to let them squish the implants, as I figured if they are leaking it would just push more silicone into where it doesn't belong. I checked with all the agencies in the State of Montana and I do not qualify for any type of help to have them removed.I called the Dow Corning ( I am in on the suit) line and they told me without knowing who the manufacturer is they would not be able to help me. Once I can establish the manufacturer they can help. I have told my son who lives in North Carolina if/when I die to remove the implants and he will be able to prove manufacturer, I figured someone should get something out of what I have endured all these years.(my breasts have been hard from the start, Dr.deal basically squished each breast on 2 separate office visits after the 2nd time I couldn't face the pain I would have to go thru so I just lived with them being hard). Is there any way to get access( without paying an arm & leg to some company) to the 1978 business records for Los Angeles? I know that he ran advertisements in the Los Angeles Times and was listed in the telephone books there that way I could get a full name on him.

So now you know the why I need to know.
