Hi Kristi,

After my explant surgery, my surgeon taped up my incision scars

(pretty cute, he did it in the shape of a heart , but that's about

all he did. I think I will get the tape off (or replaced) when I see

him for a follow up this Friday. Other than the tape he put on, all

I've been doing is wearing a sports bra 24/7. My drains came out the

day after my surgery (they were not coming out of my armpits, but

rather on the side of my breast and under my arm--which I hear is

better than under our armpits due to the bacteria there). I'm pretty

sure the scars will heal nicely. Just some extra FYI...you can never

have too much info! I'll say a prayer for you on the 26th!

Honestly, my explant surgery was the BEST surgery experience I have

ever had! I couldn't have asked for anything better! I only took 3

Vicadin (in the two day period) once I left the hospital (and only

some Tylenol after that)!

Thanks Kacey -

Glad to hear you had a good experience. I am not hesitant at all

about mine. It will be a relief to have this over with. I was just

worried that my 'real' breasts would be droopy because of all the

extra room they will have. I guess I should go invest in a size

small sports bra! Thanks again.
