Guest guest
> If you want antibiotic treatment, find the doctors on the arthritus trust web site to find a dr. near you. Good luck, I will tell my mom aobut the goldenseal, she use to swear by it maybe its time for her to try it again. she has bad headaches too. Good luck with your sinuses. Sunday, September 21, 2003 Hi and Everyone, Yes, , sounds like your story and mine are a similar, as are many others.... I sincerely put positive energy forth for you, your Mom, and everyone to continue to get well...... Sorry for the delay in responding to your last post. I did have a " spell " of sickness and back on Goldenseal/Echinacea Combination. I would recommend that to your Mom, , but I believe the immune builders, as many as she can afford along with as healthy of a diet as she can follow is by far the most important thing. Wondering if she is doing any of that as well. The Goldenseal/Echinacea for me temporarily knocks the infection down and then it returns again in a month or so. That is with being on all these things and trying to eat healthier. (IMHO the American diet is not very healthy, too many refined carbs, sugar and chemicals, even though most folks tell you they eat healthy) I have hypoglycemia as well so I struggle with following a good diet. I am going to have the Dr. look into that too although most times they only recommend a strict diet and say there is no proof low blood sugar even exists. You said.>>> Think about getting a room humidifier and nasal sprays. Use sprays faithfully, should help headaches too. What I was trying to explain about my sinuses is that I really do not have a sinus problem. It is the silicone/chemicals that are drying up my system and giving me the " Sinus Like " Symptoms of Nausea, Migraines, etc. My opinion is that Silicone is in the same family as Silica that they use in vitamin bottles etc. to dry up the air and keep the moisture from ruining the products. I am sure the dry Desert air is contributing and so using a humidifier is a good thing, but I do not notice any difference. I did years of every kind of sinus medication, nasal sprays and such to no avail. Also use essential fatty acids etc. to bring lubrication to my skin and notice no difference but stay on them because they are important for the immune system. Also use a combination of healthy oils on my skin instead of chemical ingredient hand crèmes. Thanks again for the info on antibiotic with the Dr.s. I am wondering though if intravenous antibiotics will help more or if a local one inside the breasts where the infection was or is , is better. Perhaps doing both. I have not gone to this new Dr. yet that uses herbs in his regular " Drug " practice (Appointment is Oct 9th), but I am hoping he will assist and be open to helping. If not, I will look for another Dr. to do Antibiotic treatment and pay them on my own without the insurance assistance. I believe I need to do Detoxing more, but am trying to start light detoxing first (I get massive healing reactions if I use any detox products),just by eating more veggies and fruit, less meat and junk foods which for me is a humungous challenge as every time I try and eat a balanced hypoglycemia diet, I still have severe blood sugar crashes. I weight 140 lbs, and am only 10 lbs overweight since being too sick to get out of bed much,LOL for all the junk food and stuff I eat. It is a miracle I am only this overweight. I am trying hypnosis tapes but after 20 days am " pulling my hair out " listening to it! LOL I have tried the gamut of natural supplements in combination to bring my blood sugar more in balance so I can eat better but still struggle. Was hoping the Dr. could give me a drug to use to get the symptoms in control and then I could get the diet to work....... ANYONE KNOW OF A HYPOGLYCEMIA DRUG THAT WOULD DO THIS? The GLUCOSE INTOLERANCE TEST IS NOT THAT WELL ACCEPTED I HEARD ALSO, TO PROOVE I HAVE IT.....ANY IDEAS ON THAT? Thanks to all reading this Post, you are all HUGE support for me. Thank you especially, , for taking the time to write and assist. Sincerely,
