Thanks for the reply, Jen. I guess I do just need to make up my mind & decide

if I want to take it or not - thus, my dilemma. I am very indecisive :-) I

guess the weight gain would naturally come from increased appetite & eating more

because of that - I'm pretty good at restricting my calories - just that darn

exercise that I hate.

I do like what I've read about the Lexapro/Wellbutrin combo that I've been

reading. Where I work, I see combos of all sorts given, but don't think I've

seen that one. Btw, I am a nurse in a psych hospital. Though I, myself, don't

think I'd want to take Wellbutrin - as hubby & I are thinking of a baby (maybe,

VERY up-in-the-air about it).

Well, I think today I may just jump off & try the Lexapro. I have a md appt

in a few weeks & since I stopped the Paxil without talking to her, I don't want

her to think I'm completely non-compliant & not even try to help me anymore.

Since I'm reading that a lot of people feel tired with the Lexapro, what time

of day is it best to take it at? I have seen it given at bedtime, but generally

in the morning. Though, hospitals are pretty rigid in med times, so I don't

know when is REALLY best. Paxil made me sleepy, so I took it before bed until I

got used to it, then switched to wake up time.

Thanks for the input.

Marti
