How much oil of oregano should I take?

Hey all..sorry to keep asking 1000 questions, but how much oil of

oregano(liquid kind) should I take a day? Also for how long should I

take it? I have read on different sites to take it 15 days on, and 15

days off, then I have also read to take it for several months? I am

confused. I just started taking it today, and would like to know what

the proper dose should be. Thanks.. peace. dimonds68

You're vial should tell you how many drops per dose to take. I think it varies depending on the potency of the stuff you bought. My vial (from Nature's Answer) says to take 4 drops three times a day, and it says it is guaranteed to contain a minimum of 7 mg of carvacrol. If it doesn't say, then maybe you can use that as a guide.

I would take it as long as you can...or at least until you start feeling like you are getting too much die off, then cut back for awhile and then go back on it again. I view this natural stuff as working like an antibiotic, and that means you have to keep hitting the pathogens until they eventually are all gone, even if you are feeling better keep taking it (just like you do with antibiotics, you take the doses until they are all gone), so there probably needs to be a long term committment to see the best results. I'm really hoping you start feeling more improvement on it dimonds! That would be awesome.
