Guest guest
Dr. Blais recommends going to a doctor familiar with tropical diseases and infections--I am not sure what you call these kinds of doctors, but I would search for immunologists, toxicologists, and environmental specialists. Keep in mind that they are going to use conventional medicine in their protocol. As I have suggested often, I do think that hitting the body often with raw garlic is extremely effective. Aloe vera is another great supplement that fights infection. You can douche with tea tree oil (diluted to a 1% solution) for vaginal healing. Keep hitting your body hard with these anti-fungal, antimicrobial natural supplements. A therapeutic dose of raw garlic is 12 cloves daily. (and yes, make sure you aren't going to be around too many other people while you are doing so!) There are herbs that work well as well, like fenugreek, echinacea, and others. You just have to decide if you want to go the natural route or trust conventional doctors, or use a combination of those therapies. Patty ----- Original Message ----- From: halvey70@... Nothing seems to work for long and I am at my wits end. What is causing this - do we know? I am about 6 months post explant (saline for 7 yrs) but they did find Aspergillus mold and staph in the fluid when Dr Blais inspected them. I am wondering what I should do next and what kind of doc I should see to adress these issues. I have looked up info on the mold contamination issue w/ aspergillus and I have a ton of the symptoms. Fibroyalgia, depression, headaces, etc. I am not sure what kind of doctor I should see to address these issues and also to see if there are testes that can be performed to see if all of that nasty crap is still inside me. My primary doc, of course, doesn't believe any of the implant allegations so I can't go to him. I now I need to seek treatment soon but don't have a clue! i ha ve an appt w/ dr. Vasey in Tampa in January who I know supports us and maybe could make recomendations but I don't want to wait that long. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!!Shari
Guest guest
Shari, I had my implants for over 8 years, so my yeast issues were very bad, rampant, and seemed resistant. I also had many other problems with viral issues, and myco's. I had eliminated all sugar (as sugar feeds and then enables yeast to multiply) and cut out caffiene, vinegars and yeasty, carby foods .I was taking garlic and also oil of oregeno, and to no avail, it seemed to stick around .Although these measures helped, the yeast was getting better, but still bad, and large in numbers. I was almost a year post explant, and fed up! I ate so much veggies, I was growing sprouts! Anyway, I got the book ,"Patient Heal Thyself" and was facinated with how the soil orgainsms found in Primal Defense helped in eating up and ridding the body of different infections, even resistant mycoplasma, which I had .I didn't think much about the yeast issue, I was mainly concerned with battling the more dangerous one-myco, and almost at that point given up on the whole yeast issue. But was pleasently suprised when after 3 months on it, all my yeast is gone was on my most recent live cell test. I have had over 5 of these since last year, and the yeast was everywhere and I could not get rid of it. My mycos are down too! I would definltly say to give it a try and read the book to better understand how the process works, and def go on garlic (Patty got me so hooked on garlic) oil of oregeno, and definitly probiotics,I use Ezymatic Therapy Pearls, and love them. Cocunt oil also helps. Hope this helps. Let me know how anything works for you. Guest guest
Where did you get the testing from - meaning what kinds of doctors test for this as well as mycos and what kinds of testing do they use? I need to know where to start here... I am sure I have all of these problems plus probably more but I am not sure where to get tested. ( my primary doctor doesn't believe any of my problems were related to implants as they were saline - never mind the report I gave him showing that they were severely microbiologically contaminated). thanks!! shari
Guest guest
Shari, to test for myco's you can request that the doctor, (most are md's in natural medicine, or an Infectious Disease Doctor, or even ask your explanting doc- who did you go to?) to order a presciption for a blood draw to detect evidence of mycoplamsa infection.Very few labs test for the sensitive diagnosis, but there is a lab you can request the lab sent the blood draw to: Quest Diagnosis , Nichols Institute 33608 Ortega Hwy San Jan Capistrana, CA 92690 What state/town are you in? I could do a search to see if anyone in your area does live cell microscopy. Most homeopathic, or wellness centers offer this emlightening tool to look into the function of your blood. Then you can work with it for improvement that you can see! Seeing is believing! Are there any wellness centers by you, hun ? >From: halvey70@... >Reply- > >Subject: Re: Re: [ - need help >Date: Wed, 29 Oct 2003 13:08:45 -0500 > > > >Where did you get the testing from - meaning what kinds of doctors test for this as well as mycos and what kinds of testing do they use? Guest guest
I am in Tampa - My explanting doc was local but wonderful- he was very understanding. He helped me win my insurance claim/appeal by writing several letters for me. If anyone is in the area his name is Bridge (I checked w/ him about advertising his name first) and he is in w/ the Bridge Breast Center. He and his wife run the practice and mainly specialize in cancer and reductions. thanks for your help!!
Guest guest
I am so happy to hear you had a wonderful experience with this doctor. It is especially refreshing knowing he helped you win your appeal with the insurance company. I have added him to our list of doctors in Florida. Thanks for the recommendation!
