Guest guest
You all need to get back on the topic I origionally started. I asked about headaches and you all are arguing about whatever!!! Someone posted about the showers in Australia and one of you asked--what r u talking about. He was talking about the orginional topic at hand. You all need to start your own thread and stop posting on my--new member--headaches?--thread. Please!!! I'm reading all you all's crap and it has nothing to do with headaches. --------------------------------- Need a quick answer? Get one in minutes from people who know. Ask your question on Answers. Guest guest
experience. any further explination would cause much controversy and it's not worth it. just drop it and respect me and my reasons as is and I'll respect yours. ak --- Barbara <bjarrett@...> wrote: > Says who? Guest guest
I had quite a few headaches for the first few weeks I was on it. They gradually went away. cam <prettypugz@...> wrote: You all need to get back on the topic I origionally started. I asked about headaches and you all are arguing about whatever!!! Guest guest
The suggestion of hypnosis was a response. As was trying a hot shower and other suggestions posted by other members to help with headaches. Also, if you'd like more info about headaches as a side effect there are a couple of things you can do: See the links page for the link to the information on Lex which will list all noted sides. Then try searching the message archive for the word headache. One thing you have to understand about these drugs is that each of us has a different response. You may have headaches and they may or may not be a temporary side effect for you. From your post it seems headaches run in your family. I would say that the Lex might be making them worse and the only solution is to talk to your doctor and see about trying a different med. The older AD's, one of them in particular - Pamelor (sp?) - has the added side effect of getting rid of and preventing migraines for alot of people. Barbara Re: new member---headaches? Guest guest
I'm sure most of this is above board but there are doctors who put a patient under hypnosis and take advantage of them like Polk claims her husband did to her as a young girl. He was married and much older. She was convicted of his murder. Vicki
Guest guest
The same thing has been found true of medical doctors who are not hypnotists. It's the fault of the man, not of the modality of medicine. There are lots of ministers and priests who are guilty of these things too. Guest guest
look, this is far off the track of Lex. let it go. we are on different sides of this and probably always will be so just LET IT GO. I can give you Bible stuff against it but that too would be off the track. LET IT GO. ak --- MsTigerHawk <tigerhawksoars@...> wrote: > The same thing has been found true of medical > doctors who are not hypnotists. Guest guest
Oh, are we not discussing medical treatments for depression anymore on this board? I did not know that. Guest guest
I'm well aware of preachers being charlatans...and the same in every profession. The local married precher dated my aunt for years, then another woman I knew of. He also tried to molest her daughter of around 10. She is now on Effexor, too. Guest guest
Excusez-moi, s'il vous plait, but clinical hypnotism is indeed medical. You have to have an advanced degree to practice clinical hypnosis. I suggest you educate yourself on the subject before you start throwing your " duhs " around. It comes back to you. Perhaps you might look at the following website for a brief education in what hypnosis is and what it is not. http://www.asch.net/ http://www.athealth.com/Consumer/farticles/Pearson.html http://www.a2zpsychology.com/articles/hypnotism.htm And here's some websites telling about how clinical hypnosis can treat depression. http://www.depression-hypnosis.com/ http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/medicalnews.php?newsid=8945 Colleen AUDREY KOEPKE <audkoe@...> wrote: hypno.
