It is very sad because I don't think people want to listen because our society has come a me, me, me society and a very vain society. For some reason, that is way more important and I don't get it either. Patty, said it best when she said God help us and wondered why God would do this. I think God works in many ways. I think he does things to make his "children" think about who they really are or maybe for us to have a chance and STEP UP to the plate and do the right things even when we want something else. When we don't, things like this happen and there will be consequences and the women that were there yesterday supporting silicone, trust me, THEIR TIME WILL COME. I know we all will be there for them but it doesn't make it any less frustrating on what happened yesterday. I decided to help women BEFORE they go in to get implants and talked to many women. One particular plastic surgeon sends some of his women to a doctor(shrink if you will)if he questions there reasons. This (shrink) will allow me at times to share my story if some of the implant wanna be's don't mind. I have been able to stop a couple by sharing my story and pictures and hopefully, I can help as many as I can and they will not go thru what we went thru. I can feel your frustration and pain and I know exactly where you are coming from. I had to get it out yesterday and let me tell you, I feel much better today! AND the fact that 'not one of the 40 some odd drs, surgoens, ect. or whatever you want to call them(people in white coats?), that I HAVE seen call them SAFE SAFE SAFE...Is anyone out there listening/FDA? I think the women who posted a few weeks back about how she was trying to get in touch with people to help her (ex. doct. lawyers, attorneys), and knowone got back to her, hit the nail on the head. I feel bad for the new generation who is getting ill. I tried, adn we all tried our best to stop the madness, maybe someday we will? I don't know. Just a thought.
