Guest guest
Hello. I am new to this board. I am having explant surgery tomorrow (friday). Kinda nervous yet at the same time excited to get this over with! Can't wait to be natural again. My initial BA was in 1995. Started having weird symptoms 7 months post op. I was diagnosed with a cronic sinus infection. Weird cause I had never had a sinus infection. Then from there more symptoms started to appear. I kinda thought my ilness was from my implants but then I was told " they are safe " . So I pretty much just dealt with it and figured I would end up in the hospital and then maybe the Dr.s could help me. Fell deep into depression, isolated myslf from the world wondering everyday if I was going to die. It was not until 2 months ago when I found explantation.com that I realized all the symptoms were not in my head, these implants were indeed giving me problems. Went for a consultation and the PS did say I could be having a silcone sensitivity, but this was the first case he had. He did not try to talk me out of it.ANyway, I am going in tomorrow to have them removed under a local.....this is the only thing I am nervous about. I am hopeing I will be sedated :0) I will post sometime this weekend to let you know how it went! Thanks.
