Vickie,

I have to say I agree about the staying home part making you sit

around and think about it all more.It can get really depressing too!

I realize that some of us are too sick to work however, sometimes

just getting out and doing something really helps the mind, and the

mind can really control and heal the body.If holding down a job is

too much even just volunteer work or part time light duty work is

helpful. The mind really does help to heal the body. This is also why

working out has helped me so much, I feel that the endorphins

released as well as the toxins, really have helped me to heal allot.

Everytime I work out I feel so good! There is always little things,

tiny steps that we can make, sometimes you just have to push alittle,

but in the end it will usually pay off. That does not mean I don't

have those days where I lay around too, hee hee, they are nice

sometimes. Just not all the time!

Hugs

I too understand how important it is to get your mind off of

everything. I am not able to work, however, I am a full-time

graduate student (studying Special Education). I have to in order

to stay under my parent's insurance. It would be really nice to

only have to take a class or two though! So going back to school

(lightly or even taking Internet courses through a University) could

be a great alternative for some of us who are too sick to work but

would still like to feel like we are doing SOMETHING. I know I feel

better saying that I'm in Graduate school, as opposed to... " um, I

don't really do anything. "

Being that I am a very very part time student I can tell ya right now

work to me is less stressful than school! ANYDAY, so don't feel bad

or like your not doing anything, school is tough girl, your lucky to

already have that degree behind you and now you can move ahead at

your own pace. You will get better and then you will find a job that

will fit your life and your health as it improves.

good luck
