Guest guest
Patty, All I have done is a recent liver cleanse, and juice fasts with enemas twice daily ( lemon followed up by coffee) with supplements of milk thistle. What exactly are you doing with the flush, what does it consist of? >From: "*~Patty~*" >Reply- > >Subject: Anyone else done a liver flush? >Date: Fri, 7 Nov 2003 08:14:02 -0800 > >Has anyone on this group ever done a liver flush besides me? > >I've actually done two or three, but they were far apart. I am thinking of doing a series of them, 2 weeks apart. I am just curious if anyone here has done that. I probably didn't do enough to make a difference...one of my downfalls. I often give something a good go, but move on to something else if I hear of another interesting therapy that I want to try, and haven't experienced the instant results that we all seem to crave here in our medical paradigm. > >I do remember on the other liver flushes I did, I felt horrible the next day. My husband did them, and says they make him feel bad for a day, and then he feels great. I really have not been to keen on doing them again, but the testimonies are making me think twice. > >All the testimonies I've seen are pretty amazing on the curezone forum, with blood work improving, being able to get off meds, skin tone improving, allergies going away, feeling fantastic....that's just what I need. I feel great right now, but I would love to see my blood work go back to normal, get off the thyroid meds, and get rid of allergies. These testimonies are from people who have done multiple flushes. > >My first flush is going to be Sunday night, and I will continue every 2 weeks as long as I am feeling good with it. I'll keep you posted. But let me know if you've done them too! >Patty > Is your computer infected with a virus? Find out with a FREE computer virus scan from McAfee. Take the FreeScan now! Guest guest
, There are several different recipes. You can check them out at this page: http://curezone.com/cleanse/liver/default.asp Lots of info there. I have posted in our files section the liver flush that Dr. Hulda promotes, with the half cup of olive oil, freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, and the epsom salts. It is gross, and I don't look forward to doing it, to tell you the truth, but I think my liver could use some flushing. The other recipes have slight variations, such as using lemon juice instead of grapefruit juice, but the main idea is to get those bile ducts opened up so the toxins and stones can get flushed out. I think alot of people who have trouble detoxing have a sluggish liver, and this helps to clear it, especially if there are some stones blocking some of the biliary pathways, or just clogging it up so that things don't move well. Your liver cleanse sounds good too, and mild. Did you feel that it helped you? I think I just want to give this a good try to see if I can get rid of my brain fog for good. Guest guest
It was mild. It made me feel a differnce, a little sluggish until I was done with it. But I probably need more. You are right, I have heard that the way to health is not with a slow liver or unkept bowel. I know that I have worked on my gut, bowels and some on the liver. Not realy a huge program on specifically the liver though. Let me know how you feel. I am sure you have heard, but just in case, I was told and have read anytime you are doing a cleanse use a good large amount of fiber, two three times per day- to bulk up debris and clean up the walls of the colon that is being overloaded by the liver releases. I saw some nasty stuff girl! >From: "*~Patty~*" >Reply- > >Subject: Re: Anyone else done a liver flush? >Date: Fri, 7 Nov 2003 10:42:17 -0800 > >, >There are several different recipes. Guest guest
Rogene, Yes, I did. I've been on them two weeks, and the doctor who is directing me put me on a fast track dose for two weeks, and now wants me to taper down to a maintenance dose for awhile. All I can say is that I know it is doing something....exactly what I can't tell for sure, if it is a herx or making something worse happen, but I definitely can tell something is going on. Blood work will hopefully be telling. I am due to start my period and I know that always makes me feel worse, too. I'll keep you posted. What do you think about the RM-10? Patty ----- Original Message ----- From: Rogene S Sent: Friday, November 07, 2003 11:23 AM Subject: Re: Anyone else done a liver flush? I've done a few of them . . . The first one was notable for how lousy I felt while doing it and much better I felt afterwards., Plus, how many stones I passed. I learn about it from a silicone sister at the time we were both participating in a HBOT study for implant women . . . We both used the flush (with the doctors knowledge) . . .I'm sure we confounded the study results. I went from barely being able drag myself to the treatment and unable to stay awake during it, to feeling really chipper. I don't know how much the HBOT did or did not, contribute to the results. I never knew if I was a subject or control. But I was able to return to work following the flush and HBOT after being off work for two years. After reading some of the flush results on the Curezone website, I'm ready to do another. But I want to try a different method. I used The Herb Finder's OrthoPhos in the past. To me, it makes sense that, since the liver filters your blood, that toxins removed are likely to reside there. . . Including candida and it's die-off products. Is it any wonder people get liver cancer more often as they age? Patty, Have you started the Mannatecg glyconutrients yet? Rogene
