Guest guest
Try bio-k plus, can look it up at www.biokplus.com. It is new, and the ultimate probiotic as they are live. One small 3.5 oz - 100 servings of yogurt. Augmentin is very strong, as you said, and put me in a mess. Do not let candida become a problem, as that is extraordinarily difficult to treat. Good luck on your trip.
Guest guest
Dear , You poor dear! When it rains it pours! I used to get terrible yeast infections and I found that taking acidophilus and eating plain cultured yogurt- will help keep things at bay. Augmentin is very strong, but in your case helpful considering the nature of your problem. I hope you feel better! -
Guest guest
Oh, you poor thing, that sounds nasty! ----- Original Message ----- From: naturalbeauty38 Sent: Wednesday, December 03, 2003 12:32 PM Subject: Murphey's Law Well I should not really be typing as to the fact that I have a terrible infection in my right arm so I will make this brief, just want you guys to put me in your prayers right now please! Over the weekend we were in Hole Wyoming, it was so fun, we went over for Ice Hockey that my step son plays. During an exciting game I leaped up and scraped my arm on a wooden railing. It hurt but not overly so. I kind of put it out of my mind. We stayed in a lovely ski resort called the Snow King and during our stay we soaked in a nice hot tub, with a few other young kids etc. Anyhow by Monday I was running a fever and my arm was swollen and looking nasty. By yesterday it was obviously abcessed. I could not believe it, we are not sure if the hot tub contributed to it or what but I had to have it cut open yesterday and drained and left open with gauze packing, it was full of nasty pus! ARG! Of course we are set to travel to Alberta Canada this weekend, I am not sure if I will be well by then, and I am set to have the procedure on my feet on Monday, arg! The Dr told me the procedure will still be fine so that is a go, but I am concerned about my arm, today the packing was supposed to come out but the Dr told me it was still too infected. They had to give me two painful shots of antibiotics called rocephin, one in each butt cheek! OUCH! Then they rewrapped my arm with the packing still inside. I feel fine now, no more fever, but the arm still hurts and the vicodin 7.5mg are hardly touching my pain! IT SUCKS! Well, I am out of work now this week as well as next, and bored stiff with my arm in a wrap. Unable to do much with it. OUCH!Anyhow what luck huh? I am also taking a terribly strong antibiotic orally called augmentin and am beginning to feel the yeasties coming on, so I know I need to get something (acidophilus)? for thatanyhow just say a prayer that I feel well enough to travel and that my arm will be ok soon, it sucks doesn't it? Oh well it could be worse I guess right?love ya

Guest guest
Thanks for you prayers and support. I am about 100% sure the infection had to do with that hot tub we were in for about an hour and half, it was fun, but with a little wound on my arm and then all those maybe dirty kids in the hot tub I feel I got a staph infection in my arm. It is healing up well, and the procedure on my feet on Monday is all set to go! I am really hopeful and excited about this. I heard you mention your foot pain and it sounds allot like the kind of pain I had in the beginning with the implants. I think this is the point I was trying to make, is that this pain I have now is not exactly like the pain with the implants, it is different. That pain went away. This feels more like an injury, it just seems to be classic plantar fascitis. From my understanding of the injury this shock wave therapy is very effective. Anyhow I will see what happens and hope for the best! Thanks for the prayers In , " mikat828 " <mikat828@y...> wrote: > --- > > Sorry to hear about your arm. Guest guest
I've been to Hole . . . we arrived late after running into road construction while driving through Yellowstone . . . we had a hotel reservation in Hole, so we had to push on regardless. What I remember is looking for a place to eat after 9:00 p.m. . . We saw this nice looking restaurant with outdoor dining on a balcony . . . When we went to check out the menu, some of the entree's were well over $100! . . . Talk about sticker shock! . . . Instead, we found a fast food chain. The Grand Teton's are spectacular! . . . A friend is moving to Salt Lake, so maybe we'll get up there sometime. I love touring the western states! . . So beautiful! . . . and, except for tourist season, generally not crowded. Hope you arm is doing better! Hugs, Rogene
Guest guest
Rogene there are actually a few local spots we know of there in that are somewhat reasonable, but yes it is touristy and full of rich people that does make it somewhat pricey! I love it there though, we are only 90 minutes from Hole here in Idaho Falls, it is pretty there this time of year, but very cold! I love it out here, to think before I met I had no idea any of these places even existed! HEE HEE! If you are ever out this way you do need to let me know! I can recomend some good places to stay, eat etc. Hugs In , Rogene S <saxony01@y...> wrote: > I've been to Hole . . . we arrived late after running into road construction while driving through Yellowstone . . . we had a hotel reservation in Hole, so we had to push on regardless. > > What I remember is looking for a place to eat after 9:00 p.m. . .
