Well I should not really be typing as to the fact that I have a

terrible infection in my right arm so I will make this brief, just

want you guys to put me in your prayers right now please! Over the

weekend we were in Hole Wyoming, it was so fun, we went over

for Ice Hockey that my step son plays. During an exciting game I

leaped up and scraped my arm on a wooden railing. It hurt but not

overly so. I kind of put it out of my mind. We stayed in a lovely ski

resort called the Snow King and during our stay we soaked in a nice

hot tub, with a few other young kids etc. Anyhow by Monday I was

running a fever and my arm was swollen and looking nasty. By

yesterday it was obviously abcessed. I could not believe it, we are

not sure if the hot tub contributed to it or what but I had to have

it cut open yesterday and drained and left open with gauze packing,

it was full of nasty pus! ARG! Of course we are set to travel to

Alberta Canada this weekend, I am not sure if I will be well by then,

and I am set to have the procedure on my feet on Monday, arg! The Dr

told me the procedure will still be fine so that is a go, but I am

concerned about my arm, today the packing was supposed to come out

but the Dr told me it was still too infected. They had to give me two

painful shots of antibiotics called rocephin, one in each butt cheek!

OUCH! Then they rewrapped my arm with the packing still inside. I

feel fine now, no more fever, but the arm still hurts and the vicodin

7.5mg are hardly touching my pain! IT SUCKS! Well, I am out of work

now this week as well as next, and bored stiff with my arm in a wrap.

Unable to do much with it. OUCH!

Anyhow what luck huh? I am also taking a terribly strong antibiotic

orally called augmentin and am beginning to feel the yeasties coming

on, so I know I need to get something (acidophilus)? for that

anyhow just say a prayer that I feel well enough to travel and that

my arm will be ok soon, it sucks doesn't it? Oh well it could be

worse I guess right?
