Guest guest
Hello everyone. I am the attorney that recently posted a notice for women with defective McGhan/Inamed and Mentor implants. As you can see from my post, I have personally experienced the ill effects that may be attributable to the defective implants, and since I practice law, I thought I might add to Patty's recent post regarding lawsuits, as I agree it is a time to be cautiously optimistic. I do not know what will happen here, but I am inspired by all of the women I see on this site and others. I personally feel compelled to look further into this, but I do realize the obstacles we face as I have spent the last two years researching the legal difficulties inherent in these cases. I also realize that even if we were successful, no one could ever compensate us for what we have endured and lost. What we really want back is our health, but no one can give us that. That we have to take back ourselves as best we can. Here is what I do know. We have all overcome obstacles we never thought we could fighting for our lives. We have had the guts to ignore the uninformed opinions of people with higher educations than ours who tell us the implants were not making us sick, because our instincts told us otherwise. We kept moving forward, and kept searching when they looked at us like we were crazy. We kept asking questons, even though they rolled their eyes at us. We endured countless medical tests, and emotional lows throughout. I also know that this website is an example of the power we have when we group together. So, I remain hopeful and inspired by all of you. Sincerely, Sawyer
Guest guest
Amen, thank you Sawyer for these words of wisdom! We can be proud of ourselves for being smart enough to go against the crowd and stand up for what is right. We have endured huge obstacles, but we have survived and will go forward. Thank God for women like you, and all of us here. I, too, have been inspired. Patty ----- Original Message ----- From: indysurvivor@...
