Guest guest
Kristi: You could ask for Diflucan, but it is hard on the liver, and they may need to do a pre blood screening. I know my PS had to place some of her patients on it after surgery (and before) and I did go on it for a few weeks after explant as that pain was terrible, and my infection was very bad. If you do, I would take double probiotics ( a good one is Enzyamatic Therapy Probiotic "Pearls"- take 2-3 or Garden of Life's "Fungal Defense", followed by their "Primal defense") while on it (to replace the good combatters- the good yeast) drink lots of water, and also take Milk thistle to help support the liver. it lasted about a month, touch and go, and then stopped. Isnt it annoying? Love ----- Original Message ----- From: Kristi Sent: Wednesday, November 12, 2003 4:59 PM Subject: Re: What the heck is going on??? Thanks - Gross. I think I am going to call my PCP and ask for yeast infection pills. Do you remember how long it lasted? Kristi
