On working out

when I was sick, with implants, I always managed to work out. I admit

though I did find that weightlifting was not good for me when I was

very ill. Weighlifting causes tears in the muscle fibers so lifting

is probably not good for people with fibro or who are very ill still.

I think it is very good for most of us who have gotten allot better

since our explants, like you Patty, and like me. For those still

suffering major symptoms, I would probably highly recomend water work

outs. The water is great for people with arthritis and fibro and

other types of illness and conditions that are painful. I know the

gym I go to has tons of these classes, including special ones for

those with arthritis and RA. It is so important to keep moving. No

matter how much you don't feel like it, it is always a good thing.

Weather it be walking, or swimming, or doing some light weights or

whatever your able to, but exercise is easy for people to make

excuses about or just simply because people are tired or whatever

just to say oh screw it. I think that is a big mistake. I feel that

working out in some form is totally needed in order to heal from this

illness. I think that anyone out there that is not getting some kind

of physical work out, no matter how small, is not going to heal as

fast or as complete. I don't mean that it has to be a hard,

aggressive work out, or that it has to be painful, it can be light

but I think one that makes you sweat some is important too. I mean

with my plantar fascitis it would be easy for me to say, oh forget

it, I cannot do that because of my foot. But I find things I can do,

despite that injury and I always have benefited from it. In fact I

believe that it has been instrumental in my healing. I think to see

the true benefits of it though, you have to be consistent. I mean it

has to be kept up on a regular schedule, I do believe that if you

only workout once in awhile the benefits won't come or at least not

as soon. Probably just the same as taking supplements, if you dont'

take them regularly they probably are not going to help much either.

FOr me it is just easier to get to the gym then to remember to take

all this stuff all the time. I am so bad at remembering to take pills

and stuff. Plus the money gets overwhelming! Some of that stuff is so

expensive. ARG! Anyow, i really hope that more people will try to get

some kind of work out in, walking or swimming or something, i really

think it will help allot of us.

always so much into working out and that alone will make you move

around stuff, sweat out stuff and get rid of alot of toxins, at least

alot more than those of us who have never been much into exercise. I

really do think that exercise is a necessary part of our healing, but

for alot of the women, they don't have enough energy to face the day

let alone exercise through it. Exercise will also stir up the toxins

into the bloodstream and that can set women back, and I don't know if

you ever experienced any of those setbacks, but they can be tough.

How long did it take you to really heal though?

ourselves, and if we can't get the exercise we need to oxygenate the

body and help it fight out the disease, then we need to be doing this

other stuff to help it along. It is all about oxygenating,

building healthy strong cells, and if there are toxins sitting in the

way, the oxygen isn't going to get through very well. That will keep

us sick. Anyway, that's my 2 cents, and dimonds, I think you should

just cut back on the oil of oregano if you have having a flare, and

take it easy, but in my opinion, this is another sign of healing. I

went through lots of those! Remember it is usually 3 steps forward, 2

steps back or something along those lines. But overall, healing does

take place, and you've seen it. Don't be discouraged!
